The rooms were very rundown, scratched surfaces on all furniture. Both rooms booked smelled horribly like wet dog. We had to spray stuff to mask the smell.Carpets very dirty, key cards never worked, both times we asked for new cards. Do not recommend.

Room and hallways were dirty. Room had a heavy smell of cleaner to cover dog pee in room. Got worse every time the AC came on. Handle to cabinet with fridge was sticky. Black mold in the bathroom. Was afraid to sleep in the room. Did not shower or stick around to try breakfast.

Trying to moderate this review. We didn’t mind the stay. The room was average, the staff was nice. Free parking and breakfast are a plus. However, all carpet/rug areas were really really dirty. My son’s socks turned black from walking in the room without his shoes on. It’s nice that there is a pool and hot tub but that room really needs maintenance, there was a layer of dirt floating on the hot tub bubbles. Also, the whole place smelled like weed. With some regular deep cleaning, we would have been happier but it was not a bad stay overall.

Disappointing LaQuinta in need of a lot of work

Check in was fine, but the room was not cleaned well at all. The carpet had trash on it (like a candy wrapper we picked up amongst hair and other debris). There was also hair on some of the ‘clean’ towels and bedding. We checked in later and heat decided to make do after traveling all day. This LaQuinta is old and in need of remodel and is NOT the quality of others we’ve stayed in. Doors are rickety too and our room door had to be shoved closed. Our “suite” was really just two old connecting rooms and one room had a pull out sofa with a mattress with holes in it. No sheets, just a blanket and a pillow with eyelashes (not ours!) on it. Overall, a crappy experience and nothing was addressed except they gave us two new towels.

I was happy with the room, it was clean and everything worked fine. The only thing I didn't care for were the pillows. We appreciate there were plenty but once you lay on them for a few minutes they go flat and actually get hard. The staff was very friendly and helpful, especially the gentleman who refurbished the towels in the pool. The pool needs some maintenance, I actually fell into the pool when I tried to get in from the ladder. The top rung was missing.

Horrible Stay

This was a disgusting hotel. I haven't slept nor even a minute. I showed up for a concert with my husband so we didn't check the room before heading out and when we can back late in the night we realize:: this is the hotel that people live in. The mattress is covered in stains. There are rips I'm scared and this has been terrible!!!! There is an overwhelming smell of mold or mildew.

Trash customer service

There was a glitch in the system that booked me for October 3, not the fourth, I got a text message, acknowledging my stay, which I had not completed at that time the morning of October 4. I called the front desk and explained to them that I had booked it for the fourth not the third she told me it was not her fault and not her problem and told me she was not going to do anything to make it right. Told me to contact Expedia, which I did, and then she refused to answer five phone calls from them. Whoever the owner or manager is of this location needs trained regarding customer service.
