We paid $1100 a night for an ocean view room that did not have full privacy and we had to call front desk four times for cutlery, a wine opener, wine, glasses, and slippers. All of the stuff should be standard in a room and it’s not. This place is a tourist trap. If you don’t live by an ocean or I’ve never seen the ocean this is a nice introduction but no need to stay at this hotel as the area has lots of other affordable options I later learned. Would not recommend Staying at this place.

I regret to say that this hotel has significantly declined from what I expected. From the moment I checked in, I felt as though I was being overcharged. At nearly $1,000 per night per room, I was shocked to find that basic amenities were not included. For instance, they charge $300 per day just for access to a beach chair, and renting a bicycle costs an additional $50 per hour. Moreover, even simple items like a bottle of apple juice from the market are priced at an astonishing $16. The disparity between the prices and the quality of services offered is quite alarming, especially when compared to establishments like Four Seasons or Fairmont. I would strongly advise potential guests to consider other options, as the value for money at this hotel is severely lacking. Save your money and look elsewhere!

Loved our stay, but two points to be aware of: 1.) the beach is often closed to get into the water due to sanitation issues flowing up from the Tijuana River. 2.) skip the breakfast buffet…$75 per person $21 per drink…lots of great breakfast places nearby on Orange street.

Great resort! The staff were amazing and my mom really enjoyed it! We went for her 83 birthday. She grew up in Ramona and visited Coronado often, but never stayed at the hotel. This was a dream of hers that finally came true and it was everything we had hoped. Thank you for making this special occasion memorable!
