On the property website they advertise secure luggage storage but it is not secure and they ask you to sign an indemnity to boot. If you arrive before three check in time there are only three seats in the ‘lobby’ and limited luggage room . Great location close to Holyrood Palace.

Spacious, modern, clean room with a kitchen and washer/dryer. Loved the food placed in our room upon arrival…made for a good breakfast…best room so far in Scotland! Fantastic location… close to Holyrood Palace and the Royal Mile. Highly recommend!

Apartment was very run down. It was handy having by the kitchen and washer and dryer but the dryer doesn’t dry clothes. There was hair all over the mattress protector so if the sheet git twisted you were sleeping in someone else’s hair. It was okay but not as nice as the pictures look on the websites. There was also garbage all over the place in the front of the hotel the whole 9 days we were there. It’s inexpensive for a reason. On a good note the location was excellent.

We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights. The hotel kept our luggage which was helpful. Three of us got stuck in the elevator as it was having issues and the repair technician informed us it is not an adequate elevator for the property. After this incident only two people were allowed to ride the elevators at any one time. The bathtub in the main bathroom is dangerously slippery. They need grip pads to preventing slipping and falling. Kitchen had all the essentials and was well equiped. Nice little complimentary pkg there as well for indulging in. Fairly clean facility however, there was hair in the bath tub and beard stubble on the shelf below the mirror. All in alll not a bad stay.

The room had electricity problems — fusebox triggered twice for no apparent reason. The fusebox needed to be set from within another room. There also seemed to be a problem with one of the electrical outlets. Breakfast was not worth the money. It was largely packaged dry food. We were told we could not cancel it due to the booking through hotels.com.

The first thing we didn't like was the cold welcome, we arrived at the property late at night and the person in the lobby didn't even say helloselcome or good night, the location was good near the main attractions, the room is comfortable but needs maintenance, breakfast was included but we were never informed that it was a bottle of milk. Orange juice, butter, a packet of bread and 4 little boxes of cereal ,

Very clean & quiet, stocked with some groceries (coffee/tea, milk, cereal, bread) & laundry detergent on arrival. Grocery store a few minutes walk away. Windows open only a few inches so with no air conditioning, we had to ask for fans.
