Staff was very friendly, place was clean, pool & hot tub were decent, BUT that's where the positives end. Bathroom door is a sliding door with huge gaps (about 1 inch) that allow you to see in, and you could actually see the reflection in the mirror of people going to the washroom, oh and zero lock, not that you could with that ill-fitting, sliding door. Very awkward as a family of 4, having to warn everyone not to come to that side of the room b/c you need privacy. Toilet paper holder was busted so TP roll would just fall on the floor. At midnight, water started POURING from the ceiling fan and from lines in the clearly repeatedly repaired ceiling in the bathroom (obviously a known issue). I ran to front desk and got the clerk, she came and it had calmed down, but there's obviously something not sealed right in the room above so when the people staying there showered, it poured water down. Every single pillow in the room was SO lumpy and uncomfortable, I ended up not using one at all. Got about 3 hours of broken sleep, it was terrible! I mentioned these things to the clerk at checkout, she was kind and understanding, apologized and told me she'd send a 50% off cupon for pur next stay there. I can say with 100% certainty that we'll never stay there again, I wonder if the coupon could be used at a different Sandman location? All in all, I wouldn't recommend staying here if you like privacy in the washroom and a comfortable sleep.
