We booked the room to bring our grandchildren swimming. The hot tub was cold and very chlorinated to the point we could not use it as our eyes were burning. We let the front desk know and they did rectify the issue, as it takes time, 2.5 hours, our grandchildren had to head home by then. We asked for compensation and were told because we booked through hotels.com there was none. I did check the hotel rates at the front desk prior to booking through hotels.com. It would have cost me $168 to book directly compared to $120 with hotels.com, No breakfast included.
