Very nice front desk lady! (White hair) She really took the time to explain the hotel clearly, and share some nice restaurants and tourist places around the area! Everything was nicely well kept inside & outside, and rooms were tidy and neat! Vending machines accessible (great) And a hot breakfast! Would definitely stay again!

The downtown area of Edmonton is very sketchy and ran down. The room itself was nice and comfortable. Just the area not the best. For being the capital of Alberta I guess I was thinking it would have been much nicer and cleaner. We’ve been to lots of cities from coast to coast and Edmonton is hands down the dirtiest. But our stay over all was nice. Two star tops.

Super friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast buffet included. convenient downtown location with plenty of restaurants nearby and close to subway. Property is a bit run down and homeless people evident in the neighborhood but that did not affect our stay. Overall very good.

The staff and service were good. The room was fairly clean. But the whole property is in pretty rough shape. It still smells like cigarettes. There are lots of noticeable repairs that need to be done: missing tiles, shoddy plumbing repairs, a manlift that lives in the pool area, water damage on the roof, etc. You’re paying for location, and in reality probably staying there for proximity to Rogers Place—which you are getting. It’s very convenient in that sense. I just happen to expect more for almost $200/night.
