The room was very nice, clean and spacious. The bathroom plumbing needed an upgrade (loose shower control, and the diverter didn't work well so lots of water was lost from the spout while showering. Otherwise, it was perfect for our needs and very convenient. Also, the breakfast was much better than most hotel breakfasts are these days, and we appreciated the helpful attendant, and the nice table settings (rather than disposable forks, knives, cups and plates.)

The hotel was nice. The lady at check in not nice. Even though we asked online and called then called again the morning of to ask if we could please check in early and they said anytime after 2 should be fine. We got there and the not nice lady told plus our room wasn't available (at 2:45) and the cleaning crew was on break for an hour. We were not able to get our room until after our event around 9:45 pm.

Elevator didn’t work to third floor all three days - had to get the receptionist to fix it. I can’t walk from third floor. Our room was freezing - thermostat fixed at 69 degrees. Staff at front were terrific. Restaurant was OUTSTANDING! Location was quiet and peaceful, convenient to Longwood.
