Very convenient to Frankfurt Hbf and thru that the airport. Late night shopping for toiletries etc was possible as was direct access to döner shop. Friendly hospitality made me second guess what country I was in. That's a good thing. Very positive experience.

Affordable option near Hauptbanhof.
Pros:The breakfast was very good with a great variety of selections.
Cons:Room was very small (cramped), and there was no air conditioning (only fans in the room).
Location:Hotel is very close to central train station and in the center of the city. Neighborhood is very mixed - lots of restaurants and "red light" shops.
We chose this hotel for its proximity to the train station on our first night in Europe. It was a decent place to crash and get caught up on sleep. Unfortunately, lack of AC on a hot, humid night was uncomfortable. Included breakfast was great, and set us up for a good first day. Overall, a decent, basic room that met our expectations for price and location.

Not for Americans
Pros:The rooms were relatively clean, and the staff appeared to be kind and good-natured.
Cons:Everything, but starting with WIFI, since that's most important for, well, everybody living in the 21st century.
Location:Location is not bad. The underground shopping and subway is about 5 minutes away. There's a tram stop right in front of the hotel.
Based on price alone, I understood this hotel wouldn't be the most beautiful, but I never expected it to be barely functional. The room was TINY. Their idea of a queen-size bed was two twins pushed together (with soft foam pads passing as mattresses). The shower stall was as small as a cruise ship, and the drain frequently backed up after just five minutes with water running.
WIFI was slow, with lots of intermittent failures, and quite a bit of blocked content -- including VPN, certain file types, and various ports. If you think you're going to conduct business here, think again.
In comparison the cheapest roadside motels in the United States, this hotel was complete and utter trash. You'd be better served finding a youth hostel, where at least you'd have access to a kitchen to cook your own food instead of eating the haphazardly laid out deli platter that they call breakfast.
I wouldn't recommend this hotel to my worst enemy. In fact, I'd advise specifically to avoid it.
