Difficulty at check in. Could not find reservation. The property is old, and it just shows, specifically in the rooms. But still clean, overall.

It would have been nice to have a coffee machine in the room. Other than that, the hotel was very nice, clean and the staff was very friendly.

It was pleasant and comfortable. The handicapped bathroom is a big part of why I choose Harrahs I can manage independently in their facility.

Harrah's a bit dated

The staff were friendly upon check in and along the week. However the furniture in the room and decor are quite old and dated and wore out. The maids did a pretty poor job for their daily cleaning. We enjoyed the two bathrooms and the view. The AC worked well and the water pressure for the shower was great. it was nice to have complimentary valet. However Friday night it went from being free to $25 valet and $15 parking on your own. Also the buffet in the hotel restaurant went from $25 per person to $35 on Friday night. Overall I give this hotel about a high 3 rating. The staff and valet were friendly and the concierge did an excellent job on recommendations. But due to age of the decor and lazy cleaning staff this warrants less than a 5 for us. The price of the room was less than most we looked at when booking so next time we'll invest a little more for our accommodations. Only recommend this hotel due to reasonable pricing of stay.

Better than expected

Pros: The staff showed us excellent service. The massage staff were excellent.
Cons: The location of the restaurants was not laid out clearly
We wanted a nice setting for our anniversary. The Hotel was NOT overwhelmed by the casino. The staff treated us very very well. It was clear they had an interest in our enjoyment, and showed it. Everyone, from the valet service to the concierge to the bartenders demonstrated excellent service. We will definitely come back.

The view, check in incident

When I check in the front desk gave me a not a nice view, the room they gave me initially was the worse view and told them The reason of my staying there was the view, that room didn't have view neither the mountains or the lake, what I could see was the roof of building, I ask them to change for a better view and they did it. After that everything was ok, I had a nice experience over all

Nice big room.

First of all yes, there is a resort fee and I think its a lousy way to do business but I credit Travelocity for making it very clear so for me there was no surprise. The room was very large with two bathrooms which is a new on me. The internet you pay for with that stupid resort fee, that's why I didn't say free limits you to two devices. Not two at a time but two total so chose wisely. My wife logged in on her ipad and then tried to log in her laptop but no deal since I beat her to it. The pool is indoors but it really feels like it's outdoors. There are large glass windows above and a long sliding door opening the patio area up to the outdoors for warm sunny days. The buffet was much like many of the indian casinos that I've been to. Good but nowhere near the better Las Vegas casinos.
