Upon our arrival we noticed that the entire hotel was under construction, and at no time prior to our arrival were we told that the hotel was being remodeled. In addition I paid hotel fee’s on the initial reservation, and was charged additional hotel fee’s upon our arrival. I was also charged for self parking, and that fee was never disclosed ahead of time so we will never stay here again.

Check in was terrible. They are doing construction but I wasn't informed until 2 days before check-in. The floor they put us on was gross. The room smelled like sour milk. The smoke alarm needed a battery. It took over 4 hours to get it fixed. There was limited shops and entertainment open.Upon checkout I was told I had to pay a lot more for resort fee's. After speaking to a manager he did take the fee's off the bill. This was supposed to be a relaxing enjoyable time but between a terrible room and the noise from construction it wasn't great. Its been 18 years since I visited my childhood home and it should have been a lot better. Oh and just FYI the garage elevator doesn't work right.

Request for Refund Due to Unsatisfactory Stay Dear Hotel Management, I am writing to express my deep disappointment with my recent stay at Caesars Republic from May 14th to May 16th, intended to celebrate my wedding anniversary. Unfortunately, the experience fell far below expectations, prompting me to formally request a full refund for my stay. From the very beginning, there were multiple issues that significantly impacted my experience: Valet Service: Upon arrival, the valet attendant displayed an unprofessional attitude and made no effort to assist with my vehicle. I had to approach him directly to request help, as he did not take the initiative. Hotel Appearance: Stepping into the hotel, I immediately noticed that the facility did not match the photos presented online. The difference in quality and upkeep was stark. Wi-Fi Connectivity: The Wi-Fi connection was consistently unreliable, disconnecting frequently despite being used on just one device. Valet Retrieval Issues: When retrieving my car from valet, I received no assistance from the two attendants present, despite standing directly in front of them with my ticket and asking for help. I was told to wait, and after 20 minutes, I had to approach a different attendant to finally get assistance. Due to this inconvenience, I switched to self-parking for the remainder of my stay. In-Room TV Issues: The TV remote in my room was not functioning. Although a replacement was sent promptly, the new remote also did not work. A

Unfortunately the property is in the middle of a large renovation. The entire lobby and half the casino is trashed. Starbucks is gone. And frankly the new name “Ceasars Republic” is totally lame. Harvey’s is an American icon in South Lake Tahoe. We did have dinner at the Sage Room and it was outstanding.

Property was completely under construction loud smelled horrible walking through the casino seemed small and you got lost easily because you had to walk around all these barriers very limited in food. Only one restaurant that we saw was open would not recommend until after construction is complete.

The hotel is under construction they do not have parking for oversized vehicles and you have to park down the street at ballys and pay $45 very unsafe if you have kids as the construction has areas with construction stuff around and floors are being ripped up restaurants are not open and you still have to pay $30 for resort fees even though most stuff is not usable hotel does not tell you this prior to booking

Do not stay here until they are finished with their remodeling!! We were not told everything on property would be closed. The first room smelled of paint so badly. The second room AC fan wouldnt shut off all night. They did send us an extra blanket and the bell desk was quick with our bags. We left the hotel for everything. Its all a maze of drywall mazes.
