WARNING: You will not be able to sleep when it rains. Room 308 has extremely poor soundproofing during rainstorms. You can clearly hear continuous, loud rain hitting what sounds like a metal plate or surface. I recorded the noise at around 3:00 a.m. The front desk claimed it was hail, but that is not true — it was light rain, not hail. The constant loud “dah…dah…dah…” noise from rain hitting metal made it impossible to sleep.

The hot tub was closed. I wouldn't have booked if we had known that. The pool that was open was pretty small and far too cold. Everyone in our group didn't feel like staying in very long at those temps. Especially without a hot tub to warm up in. The first room we were given had an extremely strong weed smell. We were quickly moved to a new room which was great. Spacious, very quiet even though we were close to the elevator. Free charging for the electric car was great.

This was our first time staying at this hotel and we loved it! We make a trip to Reno often as a overnight, family getaway. We booked on hotels.com and the prices was great for the value of the room. It was a little confusing at first since our Google maps didnt route us to the front entrance and we had to walk around a bit to find the front desk. Our first impression was that this hotel didn't seem smoke heavy, our entire stay we were impressed that the overwhelming scent of cigarettes wasn't present like it is in most casinos. Second impression was that there are were bars everywhere, which was such a major plus!! The bell man was SO nice. Don't remember his name, but he was bolo head and from Hawaii. Looks like the rocks cousin. He was totally patient with my kids who were running wild and he made friendly conversation with us the whole way up to the room. Our room was super clean and spacious; plus it didn't smell like smoke. All the staff were extremely friendly. The bartenders, servers, cocktail waitresses and housekeeping. The pool was open until 10pm and it was a really nice setup. The arcade is open twenty four hours, which our kids took full advantage of. We ate at the Purple Parrot and really enjoyed our breakfast. Front desk was meh. We had a lot of questions at check in about the amenities and it felt like we were being rushed, although there was no one else in line. We called in the morning to ask about a late checkout as my husband wanted to gamble m

It was a million times better than anywhere in las vegas! Hotel, service, room and the food......... best room service food ever. I am a cook and EVERY SINGLE ITEM we ordererd to eat ( alot of food) was amazing and way above standard. We will not stay anywhere else and decided vegas is 4 the birds and millionaires. Not us.
