We had a great experience while staying at the hotel. The location of the hotel is convenient to many of the local exhibits and allowed us to walk if we wanted and save on transportation costs. The type of room we requested at booking was not available when we arrived so the the hotel gave a GREAT update to a suite. The size of the suite was unbelievable and it offered many fine amenities to show appreciation to the guests!

New York New York review

First time staying at NY NY and we would stay there again. Room was nice and clean; bed and pillows were comfy. We had Soho King room with a view. The view is not of the strip the way the hotel faces, the view was the roller coaster, and you could see the MGM and Excalibur hotel across from us. Next time I will ask for a pool side room view, however it really is not that big of a deal because you are not in the room that much. No coffee maker or mini fridge in the room, we were told the premium rooms and suites have mini fridges. We knew this before checking in and brought a small cooler to hold our drinks in. There are two Starbucks in the hotel so finding coffee wasn't an issue. Lots of good restaurants inside the hotel to choose from and the pool area was nice. We did the self-check in and self-checkout at the kiosks which was fast and convenient, you can even make your own keys, and we made an extra key just in case. Daily maid service was included, and our maid was wonderful.
