"Great location if you're going to the Riverwalk, but be aware it's noisy. We were on the 5th floor and heard airplanes, fog horns, and the elevator all night both nights. As I have discovered now at all Hilton Garden Inns, the beds are hard and crazy uncomfortable. The hallway on our floor and the elevator consistently smelled of marijuana. Also the only hotel parking is valet at $50 a night...we parked in a garage up the street for $30 per night. In the future I'll spend a little more money for a little more comfort."

"We stayed at the Bourbon Orleans Hotel last week and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience, especially considering the high price we paid for the stay. The air conditioning in our room barely worked, leaving the room uncomfortably warm throughout our visit. On top of that, the air quality smelled heavily of mildew, which caused severe allergy symptoms during our stay. The hot water situation was equally frustrating. We had to let the shower run for nearly 30 minutes before the water became warm enough to use, and when we reported it, staff simply blamed it on the building’s “old pipes” rather than offering a real solution or accommodation. To make matters worse, we found blood stains on one of the pillows and eyelashes on the bed sheets upon arrival, which made us seriously question the cleanliness standards of the hotel. Overall, we regret spending so much money to stay here. The location may be convenient, but the condition of the room, cleanliness concerns, and lack of resolution from staff made this an extremely disappointing experience."

"The executive corner level room was very clean and quiet. The executive level R Lounge was closed for entire trip,which was not disclosed in advance. The free breakfast at the Desire Oyster Bar restaurant was good, as were the chargrilled oysters at dinner. Le Booze ( formerly very nice cigar bar) has turned into nothing but a wall of tvs, indistinguishable from any other bar on Bourbon Street. The pool was packed, though the hotel wasn't. They sell passes to the public. They claim it's a heated pool, but I , nor anyone in the water thought it was heated. The common areas are great, and the staff is friendly. Desire Oyster Bar/Restaurant puts out good food all day, with great staff. The hotel is close to the river, and very close to the top Quarter restaurants and the rest in town are easily accessible via cab or Uber/Lift."
