"Came to the Crowne with my son for my birthday weekend, we wanted to stay close to Bourbon Street. The pros - the hotel is very pretty, clean and has a lot of activities going on. The staff was super friendly Kianti at the front desk was great. They brought us up two small bottles of rose. The valets were friendly and got your car when you needed it (I believe it was 50 per day) it takes them 10-15 minutes so make sure to take that into consideration if you are going somewhere. The location, amazing! Down the elevator and around the corner and you are on bourbon street. The cons - the air conditioner! The room never cooled off. We had it set as low as it would go and were still hot! The beds were hard and super high. I felt like I had to jump up to get on them (I’m 5’8”) the noise - the hotel was quiet but you could hear the noise from the street even on the twentieth floor, two guys playing the buckets morning til about one am. Overall this is good hotel. They have a restaurant, pool & fitness center. This is my third time in New Orleans and although this is not my favorite place I have stayed I would say that it is good."
