One month in Montreal

A modern and nicely decorated condo. The location is close to downtown and metro. Even in bad weather you can reach the metro via the pass over the road and through Rio Tinto Building. Indoor pool, whirlpool and barbecue area, etc. is welcome. Traffic from Rue St. Antoine is noisy as well as indoor air condition for an European traveler, but get used to it after a few days. All over a nice condo which I would book again. Communication with Carl was easy and good. Thanks for the pleasant stay.

Montreal Vacation

We had a wonderful time in Montreal. The condo was everything we needed. Close to the Bell Centre and all of downtown. The building has all the amenities like indoor pool and gym. Parking garage was right across the street and very reasonable. Would definitely stay there next time in Montreal.

Easy access to downtown restaurants, subway and commuter trains

Condo as described in listing, beds are comfortable - which is our most important criteria. Quality appliances which worked well. Sofa was not very comfortable. Would have been nice if TV had been on a full-motion wall mount (note that there is no local TV programming - you will need your own streaming services). This is a downtown location so be prepared to hear the street traffic. We had to find our own parking - a friend of a friend who lives in building went on building's Facebook page to find us a parking - owner could have been more helpful in helping find parking. During our stay 2 of the 4 elevators were out of service (6 weeks) which often made for long waits for the elevator. We got to use and appreciated using the BBQs, pool and hot-tub.

Downtown Montreal

We enjoyed our month stay in this modern apartment in a skyscraper in downtown Montreal. Location was great for those like us without a car as we were able to walk easily to groceries, the Metro, restaurants and many sites. Very close to downtown shopping. The apartment has working modern appliances and a well-equipped kitchen. It was very quiet. Comfortable furniture. The TV sets are "smart" TVs with no cable hook-up. We brought our Apple TV hook-up from home and were able to view some programs. Adequate wifi service. When we return to Montreal, we will look to see if this convenient apartment is available.

Great location - clean and convenient!

This was a great place to stay - we loved the convenience of the nearby subway stops. The apartment itself is very nicely furnished - comfortable with everything we needed. Having a full kitchen is great with a longer stay. Highly recommend!

A Great Visit to Montreal

The Condo was Comfortable, Centrally Located to Downtown and all of the areas to visit in Montreal...also easy access to the Underground City, the Metro, Trains, Highways (if you are driving) Carl, our host, was very accommodating and quickly responded to any question we had, prior to our stay as well as throughout our visit. A couple of notes.... ...Wifi worked great and there were also ethernet connections available from the modem.(Just need to bring long enough cables). ...It seems that Canadian rules do not allow access of any "out-of-country" cable or news service. (we could connect to our DVR but were not allowed to watch any live programming like news or sports. Had to set the DVR to record and then watch at a later time) ...The TV is not connected to cable TV, so live news, business news or sports were not accessible unless you paid a subscription through the web-site to whatever service you wanted to watch...Bloomberg, CNBC, ESPN, etc.... If you drove or rented a car...Parking is available about a half block away at Place Du Canada Parking Garage under the Marriot Hotel with Entry on Peel St. Daily rate of $22 to $28 (depending if there is an event at the Bell Center) or you could speak to the staff about a Monthly Rate (currently $325) which gives quite a savings. They will issue you a card for easy access 24/7. If you plan on using the amenities within the building...A word to the wise...The building has about 500 units, most are full time residents, so be especially careful. The amenities get a lot of use and can get quite busy at times. Be sure to read and follow all of the Rules and Guidelines. Also, be sure that you are registered at the front desk to gain access to the amenities...very important! Lastly, be aware that you may get a bit of attitude because you are short term. We both experienced this regularly. That said, the pool area, hot tub, sauna, gym were all GREAT and we used them quite frequently. Overall, a Great Condo to explore the City and surroundings. ...and....of course...A BIG Thanks to Carl!

The apartment has an excellent location with direct access under the building to metro lines. The building has great facilities like an indoor pool which we enjoyed very much. The apartment is clean, modern and nicely decorated with a lot of natural light. It has a well-equipped kitchen. The two bedrooms are very spacious with comfortable beds. Our host Carl has been excellent, very helpful and attentive. We enjoyed meeting him and staying in this apartment.
