Old building. Needed some updates and heavy cleaning. Central location but very loud at night. Breakfast was ok but not worth the price. Confusing building between the floors and 2 sets of elevators.

Dont let the name "Crown Plaza" or IHG property fool you. This was the bottom of the barrel for IHG properties. What was once a grand hotel is now run down and worn at every turn. The pool was unsafe to use - cloudy and dark - no one went in because it was gross. The ONE computer in the "business center" is out of order - has not worked for months according to one employee. And there were hundreds of teens checked in for a college fraternity party. Complete chaos with no security intervention. The carpets were stained - not a little, but alot - throughout the entire hotel. Of the ice machines that worked, they were worn, dirty and some had mold. Housekeeping couldn't make it to our room before 6-7 every night so we just told them to give us towels so we could get ready to go out for the evening. And the icing on the cake were the amounts of people smoking weed at the pool and in their rooms - smell traveled to the elevators. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else. You'll be glad you did. Yuck!!

Don’t let the name, the fancy façade or the fact that it’s an IHG property sway you to stay here. What was once a grand hotel has fallen into incredible disrepair and lack of quality amenities. This is a bottom of the barrel IHG property. We were greeted with the smell of weed in the elevators, stains on carpeting throughout the hallways, and in our room, mold in the shower, mold on the doors leading to the pool, Drapes were half hanging on the curtain rods, letting light in all night long. Ice machines were old and moldy. There must not be an age restriction to reserve rooms here as over 200+ fraternity and sorority kids stayed in the hotel partying in the hallways and causing chaos till 4–5 in the morning… often confrontational. the front desk didn’t not address. Housekeeping did not show until five or 6 o’clock at night, making it nearly impossible to get ready to go out for the evening to dinner. Did not sufficiently supply towels and toilet paper— had to request them all weekend long. The wonderful pool you see was cloudy and unusable our entire stay… And no one cares to look into it. No business center for guest use, and the one computer that they have set up in the lobby has been broke for months according to concierge and nobody at the desk nor the manager care to address it. Do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere.

Staff upon check in was rude and dismissive of my question regarding the parking situation. The manager on call listened but still recommended a parking garage that was closed as well. The bathroom door wouldn't open or close without forcing it. And one day of my stay, my room door was left ajared by the house keeping staff upon my return.

Exactly where we left it and they gave us the runaround so now we have to drive there two hours away to go find it . Elevator didn’t work and we stayed on the 6th floor .

It was 32• outside and my heat didn’t work, the lady at the front desk had an attitude, hotel was dirty. I was charged $25 a day for nothing, and they said it was for complementary drinks they gave us at checkout

The toilet in room did not work properly. Had to take top off to fill tank to make it flush. We called front desk about all the noise/yelling. People running down halls beating on everyone’s door. They said they would look into it but these kids were coming back from party and it’s to be expected. The noise and beating continued all night. Not likely to stay again. The employee didn’t seem very interested in problems.
