This property was overall very nice and comfortable. Very spacious and the outdoor balcony/sitting area was very inviting until the rains showed up. We enjoyed our stay. The proximity of restaurants and the streetcar line made it more convenient. I will recommend this property to others.
This place is nothing like its posting, it was not clean, only 4 utensils to cook with and 2 of them had caked on food from previous guests? Grossed us out we did not eat there at all costing my family a tremendous amount of money to eat out every meal. Plus there was only 1 medium size fry pan and 2 saucepans. Not enough cooking pans to make a meal for 6 adults? Bathroom door going out to patio did not lock, a scary sitution. House was rather dusty, closets very dusty didnt want to put shoes in them. We paid way too much for this place, pls call me to discuss issues.
The inside of this property is really quite lovely. The pictures do not do it justice. Now for the minor things that werenât that great.
I was hosting a retreat and the bedding situation was extremely important. This place technically could sleep 7 or more people if beds were shared. One âroomâ in the picture that looks like a sleigh bed inside of a hallway is more like a bed in a walk in closet. I believe it was designed to be something different than what it is used for because it was so small. The other two âbedsâ are pull out couches that I would have been hesitant to use. In summary, there are three legitimate bedrooms, a âhalfâ bedroom and two pullouts.
There was no ice machine in the refrigerator or trays for ice.
Lastly, the shower head in the master bedroom is directly over head. Itâs an interesting design but because of my hairstyle, it made it difficult to quickly shower.
The property is more like on the 3rd floor rather than the second, as there are 2 distinct staircases that lead to different parts of the property. If you have any type of challenges with stairs, this is not the place for you. I actually injured myself the day before so maneuvering up and down the stairs was rough until my leg got better a day or two in.
All in all, the guests and I were very happy with the place. I do feel that more detail should be put into the property description. If one additional person had stayed with us, it would have been uncomfortable.
The place was spacious and clean. But the decorations were gaudy and cheap. Things were falling apart and the master bathroom was a joke. But I was with a bunch of male friends for Jazz fest, so it was perfect for us.
The property was just as advertised and was great for our stay. Property was close to everything we wanted to see and do. Could walk to French quarter but easier to ride share. The place itself was comfortable and clean
Nice big condo with pleasant outdoor patio. It is showing a little bit of wear and the entrance could seem a little bit sketchy to folks who havenât spent a lot of time in New Orleans, but I would definitely stay again.
Very large kitchen/dining/living area. Great outdoor space. Unit was spotless. Huge master suite on separate level. Lilia was super responsive to any questions/requests.
Property was very beautiful, not clean tho was very dirty. Got woke up early by someone cleaning the street at 6am. Checkin 4 :00 check out 10am would have liked to sleep in.
The place was nothing like described, very misleading. charged my account for more than was supposed to be charged, still have not been fully refunded (VRBO/ Hosteeva) representative slurred racial and homophobic remarks when filing complaint. ***Please look away from this particular stay****
This was our second time at this property. Away from the quarter, steps to the trolley line. Great bars and restaurants near by also. Easy check in/check out. Apartment is just like it looks in the photos.
Upon arrival we thought we were out in the boondocks. However, after getting acquainted with the neighborhood, we realized that public transportation was easily accessible (tram & bus). If youâre a senior it only cost 40 cents. We also found nice restaurants in the area. The interior of the house was very clean, however, the outside patio area needed cleaning. The cushion covers on the exterior chairs need to be washed. Our overall experience was good.

Great location
Great location and is impressive, however, it wasnât clean. We enjoyed the outdoor patio very much, the master bedroom was beautiful.
Amazingly beautiful condo - truly an entertaining home away from home!
So beautiful and spaciousoly modern - would def recommend - however needs a lil deep cleaning - oven needed cleaning and under beds very dusty , sofas and woodwork need a like tlc but nothing major ! Would stay there again !! A few oven mitts would have been helpful as well.
This condo was perfect for my family and friends for Mardi Gras. We were literally a block from the parade route for 3 out of 4 days which was perfect because we didnât have to move once we parked. We also had plenty of space, loved the balcony and itâs beautiful! Would definitely book again. Thanks!!
Looks just like the pictures very spacious, neighborhood is great..
but, the AC did not work on arrival. Took 3 calls to have someone come to look and another 24 hours to get repairs underway. The management company sent repair folks who did have the A/C working 1 day, but it broke again. There seem to be some weird electrical issues with the unit. No one came back after it broke again, nor did the management company call us back after we asked repeated requests. Fortunately, the weather changed and the temperatures dropped otherwise would have been extremely miserable. Cannot image staying there is the height of summer, it would be too hot.
The positive things about the unit: The neighborhood is great. It seems at first look a little sketchy, but it really is very convenient and safe. Specifically if you do not want to be in the middle of Bourbon street. For us, it was about seeing parades for Carnival, which was 1 block and you were at the parade route. Lots of food options and bars nearby. Parking was tricky, but it was also first weekend of Carnival so it was to be expected. Lots of space in the unit, and the outside area is wonderful to start your day with coffee and end your day with wine.
The negative things (besides the A/C)...3 forks, 1 spoon, 4 coffee mugs, no wine opener. The electrical kept tripping and we became very knowledge with the fuse box. The unit was not really cleaned well. The stairs are a bit of a OMG moment if you have large bags. 15 steps up to the master bedroom unit and another 12 up to the main part of the unit. All this unit needs is some TLC and it would be a 5 star place to stay.
Out of the noise/stench of the FQ and used as a travel hub to see all of NOLA.
First, this is a great rental. Spacious enough for our extended family of 8 to stay comfortably. One block to St. Charles St. streetcar or quick Uber/Lyfts. Out of the hustle and bustle of the French Quarter, which was what we wanted. The location made it easy to see all of NOLA (garden district, magazine street, city park, etc). Air conditioners worked great. All electrical items (lights, fans, kitchen appliances) worked you just have to use your noggin to figure out how far to turn the light switches so they don't flicker (this has to do with ballasts, reostats, and the type of bulb. I will not get into that here, but in a nutshell there is nothing wrong with them). The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, utensils, glasses, mugs, pots, pans. Plenty of towels, bedding, tp, papertowels, cleaners. I don't understand the negative reviews I saw. This was a great spot and I sum it up to people looking for something to complain about. If you cannot handle 2 flights of stairs do not rent this large, exquisite apartment because there are stairs, just like it says in the description. The only reason I did not give it a perfect 5 is the wifi. It was available but I had to call the first day to get an updated password so we could connect but it was not strong. Only Verizon Wireless service phones were strong enough to find and use the free wifi, AT&T service phones were never able to connect. Could use a little TLC but what building in NOLA couldn't. Overall, we all agreed we loved the rental and would stay again.
For starters, the local manager never answered the phone, nor called back when we left messages. We never were able to get the WiFi to work. The lights never came on downstairs. The breaker box for the kitchen lights didnât work, and the kitchen light panel was so hot it would burn you and we had to turn off the lights from the breaker box to prevent a fire. We had to fix the upstairs toilet as it was broken. The upstairs sink doesnât drain, and leaks underneath. The thermostat does not work. They should have mentioned the only way to reach the place is by 2 flights of stairs.
Lights in master started flickering even when light switches were turned off so we had to unscrew some of the bulbs to get any rest (and this started in the middle of the night). We were only there one night so didnât have time to call anyone and didnât feel it was worth it. Also the smoke detector kept beeping upstairs in the middle of the night. One of the couch beds is not usable (it sinks down in the middle) and this was also discovered late so guests slept on the couch. Itâs a nice property, it just doesnât seem to be maintained. Also perfect location for what we needed.
