Elevator apparently have been broken since April. The maid staff is loud enough to wake the dead with no clue how to shut a door without slamming it. And when you have 5 maids slamming doors for hours, its certainly not a peaceful place

The location cant be beat- walkable to everywhere in the french quarter. This is a historic building which is lovely, but comes with some quirks... small bathroom- ie: no shelves for all my toiletries (pedestal sink). Everything was under construction - the lobby, the pool, the gym - better to come back in 2026 when the renovations are done :(

The spa area was closed for remodeling, after informing me the pool would be open. Checked with the front desk months before arriving about grab bars in the shower and was told our room had them, no they did not, and would not relocte us to a safer room

First and foremost, the staff - kindest, sweetest, friendliest and most thoughtful staff I have ever encountered. Truly made my stay unforgettable. The hotel itself is beautiful. Even during remodel renovations, it’s a very pretty property with everything you need to feel taken care of. The Rib Room restaurant and bar are delicious, with tons of options and seating inside and outside the bar. You can walk to everything from this hotel. The location is ideal. But again, Omni has dialed in the customer service and hired genuine staff that make you feel like part of the family.

This was a nice older hotel. Walking distance to Bourbon and Canal St. Very well decorated for the Christmas season, and the staff was very helpful, kind, and gracious. The only things that I didn't like was that I had to call the front desk three times to get the heat working in our room, the water is lukewarm to cold for showering, and no microwave in your room.
