The elevator situation was terrible!! Beware. We were waiting in hallways for 20+ minutes to take the elevator. We were on the 16th floor, so the stairway was not easy for a great option. In our 27+ years of traveling- this was the first “elevator problem” we’d ever experienced. Rooms were clean, extremely small, and after waiting in lines to get the included breakfast at 8:30am, we set our plates down and walked to a nearby restaurant- there were ZERO seats to eat your breakfast, and people standing everywhere. The staff was not friendly at all. Didn’t even say hello at all. The room was incredibly small. The outside was very stinky. Smokers were in all the non smoking areas. The worst was the staff. Never said welcome back. How are you today. Nothing. Overpriced for what we received.

Housekeeping were loud when they came on the hall in the mornings, waking everyone up, even those scheduled for every other day cleaning services. Room was extremely small, elevators were small and slow. There was no demonstration on how to use the elevator, we had to figure it out on our own. We had to walk up/down 26 flights of stairs. Fridge did not initially work, AC controls had to be repaired. Lobby set up poorly. Fire alarm went off.

The room was ridiculously small for 4 people. There were not enough elevators to support the volume of people going up and down in the am. We left after 1 day and management agreed we could leave early and when I got my receipt they tried to charge me 750+ penalty fee, which was never mentioned when we talked to management. It was removed after some back & forth. I always stay at Hampton inns but this particular location would be a no for me. I feel like I ridiculously overpaid for the one night I stayed based on accommodations.

I booked a king size room with a city view. After finding out we would be on the 35th floor, I asked to be moved to a lower floor. We were moved to a room on the 3rd floor. I told the staff that we had a queen size bed and should be given a discount. Sunita was helpful and said we could move (we had already unpacked and were too tired to move). Laura and Ahmed were very rude and kept saying we had a king bed. The sheets were labeled queen size. We have a king bed at home and this bed was much smaller. I know the difference between a king bed and a queen bed. Overall the room was clean. The room is very small.

It was a solid stay, good value for the area. My main complaint is the HVAC is extremely loud when it gets activated, so if you are a light sleeper this could be an issue. The rooms are pretty nice but narrow, just be aware of this if you are traveling with family or a significant other and you both are carrying multiple bags, storage space could be an issue. Beds were comfortable, TV is good, rooms have a microwave, fridge, and safe so that is a plus. Bathroom sink area is a bit small but overall the bathroom is fine, shower temps and pressure were good. Overall it was a good experience, I would stay here again if the price was right.
