The room was small and we had to use the desk to put our suitcases on which meant we couldn’t make coffee because the plug in’s were covered up by our suitcases.

Excellent views, however, it was small space. Two more feet either way would’ve been great in the bedroom as well as the bathroom. Furnishings were nice. Everything was clean and worked. The elevator system was a disaster in the mornings. We sat on the 31st floor for 45 minutes waiting for an elevator both mornings. Breakfast was good. Overall, it was a nice clean. Very small place to enjoy the New York experience. Absolutely loved the location. I probably wouldn’t stay here again just because of the elevator situation and no stairs, but that’s just a personal thing for myself.

Good: the front desk people were excellent - when we needed to change rooms due to the elevators (see comment below) they expedited this, and when she left her chargers in the old room, they searched and found them - even gave her a replacement until they found them. Fair: lots of tourist groups use this hotel - breakfast is very crowded unless (as the hotel recommends) you eat between 6-7am. Not good: the elevator system is crazy/difficult. You can only get to your floor, so if you have a friend or relation on a different floor, you can't get to their room. Also, even if the elevator is full, it still stops at any floor where people have pushed the buttons. This means if you are on the 5th floor, by the time it arrives from going down from the 34th floor, your chances at peak times to get to the lobby are very small. On one occasion we had to tell the front desk that a mom with a baby carriage had been stuck on the 5th floor because there was no room in any of the 4 elevators by the time they arrived. The system needs to be fixed so that when an elevator is at a certain weight, it goes right to the lobby.

Great location. Horrible wait times for elevators at all times of day. They have a very high tech elevator call system which doesn’t work. Waited 20 min on average to go up or down. Stayed two nights. No maid service or clean towels despite calling front desk to request clean towels and linens.

The room was too small they said good for 4 people but I think its only good for 2 given the space. You can't even lay your suitcase on the floor and if you will move you have to ask the other person to stay in the bed so you can pass. No lock in the bathroom. The elevator it's too complicated to use. You have to search quickly which elevator will open otherwise you have to press again if you didn't catch it. The things we liked are, within time square very walkable and near subway. Free breakfast and free luggage storage if youre guest. Overall, probably I'll find a better place.

I enjoyed my stay here. The staff were both friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean and modern. For the price, I think it was a good value overall. Let's start with the minor inconvenience of the elevator traffic jam. During peak times like check-in, breakfast, and dinner hours, you WILL wait for an elevator. My main issue was that the standard king room was so small! I understand, it's NYC after all. However, there was barely enough space for a single person to maneuver around the room comfortably, let alone two people. We had to constantly stop and move out of each other's way because there was only about 2 ft of clearance from the front wall to the edge of the bed. Not to mention that the wall-mounted television took away from this even more. Same issue on both sides of the bed, including where the desk and a small open closet were located. Literally, just enough clearance for one person. When one person wanted to get by the person currently utilizing the space, we were literally on top of each other. For reference, my partner is an average-sized American man, around 195 lbs & 6ft tall. I am a thick curvy 5'5" girlie who wears a size XL & 14 jeans. We weren't upset because we're a couple who love each other. However, I would NOT recommend this hotel/room for a family. It seems like couples (who like each other/get along) and single occupants would find this arrangement suitable. I found it way too cramped to recommend to a family with children.
