Very average stay. Good location, we walked to Rockefeller center, Broadway & Time Square with ease. The hotel lobby has good vibes & had things to do for kids. Drinks in the lobby area were overpriced so we didn't hang out long, it cost us $100 for 4 drinks (two vodka sodas and two plain sodas). Read good things about the restaurant and was excited to try it, however it was our worst meal while we were in NYC. Terrible service, dirty silverware and the very basic meal for 2 adults and 2 kids was $275. You're better off finding something upper scale that will be worth the money. We had an amazing meal at Din Tai Fung (about 1 min walk from the hotel) and it cost less, and was so much better! Room was just OK, clean and good view of Time Square. Beds were not comfortable and bedding was very rough, we couldn't wait to get back home to sleep.

The room was fine. But the check-in process was ridiculous. There was a long line and only two of the three check-in stations had an agent. (The concierge didn't pitch in to help.) And to make it worse, the agents were very chatty which slowed things down even more. It took me 20 minutes to check in. One customer took more than 10 minutes at the counter, and it sounded like mostly small talk. Get more help, and teach them that good service and friendly service are not the same thing. When there's a long line, they need to do everything they can to move things along.
