I booked a superior room through Expedia specifically for the view, but the experience was incredibly disappointing. The first room had a fogged-up window due to broken seals, making the view barely visible. We were moved to a second room where the AC was extremely loud and made it difficult to sleep. To make things worse, housekeeping removed the comforter when changing the sheets and never replaced it—we had to sleep with just two thin sheets. When I raised these issues with the hotel manager and asked for some form of compensation, they completely dismissed it and showed no willingness to make things right. While the location and views are great, the service and management were far below acceptable standards. I expected much more, especially for a room labeled superior. I do not recommend this property, and I’m disappointed Expedia would list it without more accurate information.

Ricky at the front desk was so great! Extremely friendly and helpful. Pro: The hotel is beautiful. Very warm and cool ambience. Needed a key card to get upstairs and that made us feel really safe. The views of the 9/11 Memorial is great. Lots of shopping and restaurants within walking distance. The room was clean. Beds very comfortable. Large bathroom. My favorite thing of all was how quiet the room was. We didn't hear anything! Con: The beds seemed smaller than I expected. Expected queen beds and got full size. We called prior to driving 9 hours with children to inquire about parking. We were told we'd have to find parking nearby at one of the parking garages. Paid $80 for parking at a garage 3 blocks away. Was told by Ricky once we made it inside the hotel, they work with a company to assist with parking and you only pay $40. That was disappointing. Despite the parking situation we would definitely recommend staying here.
