Great location and having access to the Y's full gym and pool is fantastic. The accommodations are dorm-like, but definitely better than hostel with private bedrooms with a mini fridge and individual shared bathrooms rather than a multi-stall public bathroom. I felt safe, and it was very quiet. Overall, it's not as comfortable as a traditional hotel, but the gym, location, and value make it an excellent option for someone traveling on a budget.

I had an amazing stay at the YMCA West Side in New York City! If you’re planning a small trip or even a solo getaway, this is such a great option.
