Filthy, bug infested room.

The room we were given was full of flies, spiders and dead bugs all over the floor. The door didn’t shut correctly and you could see daylight shining through the bottom. The room had a musty smell to it and the wooden end tables showed signs of water damage. We asked for a different room but was told there was no rooms available. A woman at the front desk offered to take a fly swatter and go into the room to swat the flies. No effort was taken by the staff to go look the room over with us. We turned our key cards in and found another place to stay and are now battling with the motel for a refund which they are currently not offering us. I have over a dozen pictures and videos of the condition of this room.

The ac was full of mold and gave me severe breathing issues. Breakfast was not really breakfast, more like snacks. Location was very convenient. The phones dont work, the television netflix also didnt work. Room service took about a day to arrive after it was requested. The pool was very nice for the kids as well as the playground setup

The outside of the room door was covered in bugs. I took the time to kill/clean the door to go inside the room just to find the room was also filled with bugs. I called the front desk to ask for a bug spray and they said they didn’t have any. We tried killing as many as we could before going to bed but it was impossible. We had to sleep fully clothed and with hoodies on to cover our heads. Only managed to sleep for about 2 hours worried that the bugs would be biting us while we slept. Needless to say we woke up covered in bug bites. Notified the front desk in the morning as we checked out and were told they would do some reimbursement for our trouble. Still have not received any reimbursement. Do not recommend!

Most of the staff were nice and helpful. One staff member that was taking care of "breakfast " was rude and seemed to be miserable. We had to beg for towels wamd washcloths. The rooms were not very nice or clean and the area was very ran down. Many empty buildings that had broken windows and graffiti. However, the American side of Niagara Falls is not very nice at all. I dont think the money from tourists is going back into the city which is a shame.

Spend 30 Bucks more and Stay in a Clean Room

I tried to save some money and booked this hotel, and I instantly regretted it. I lasted about 30 minutes in my room--it was dirty, I got 2 bug bits in 20 minutes, and I killed 2 spiders in my bathroom. The dresser was sticky, the floor was dusty, and there were dead bugs by the alarm clock. It was so bad I checked out within an hour of checking in, and I had to book another hotel. Beware: both EconoLodge and Hotels.com refused to refund my money. Sometimes it's nice to save money on a trip, but in this case, spend 30 bucks more and stay at a hotel that is actually clean and bug free. There are SO many other options in this area.

Tv did not working, no working phone, tub had a slippry substance in it that would not wash away. Walked to the office to get help but they did not show . I called from my cell phone after 2 hours but was give no help

There were so many bugs ans mosquitos every where. All doors and lights were surrounded by mosquitos. Staff was very rude when we asked and said they cant do anything either you stay or leave as they have complaints from many rooms so they were tired and did not want to help anyone.
