I had an overall okay experience. The front desk staff was pleasant and welcoming. I booked a room with two beds, and unfortunately one of the blankets had stains underneath it, so I chose to sleep on the other bed. I also noticed makeup stains on the curtains, but aside from that the room was fine. The breakfast was good and I appreciated the variety. One concern I did have, which I hope the hotel can improve, is that the front desk staff said my room number out loud during check-in. As a female solo traveler, this made me feel uncomfortable. For safety reasons, it would be better to simply point to the room number on the card sleeve instead of announcing it.

My average rating is based on a number of factors. When we first checked in our room was so cold that we had to turn on the heat. Unfortunately, the heat didn't work. We were able to move to a different room which was much appreciated. The bigger issues were no hot water one night and some problems with our toilet. We were told that the problems could not be fixed until the next morning. Not having sufficient hot water and someone on staff to handle basic maintenance needs is unacceptable.
