We had an amazing time at Allegro! We loved the direct access to the beach, and had many relaxing walks by the ocean. All the staff we interacted with were a pleasure. Everyone was attentive, friendly, helpful, and so much fun! Lots of options for food, drinks, and activities inside the resort. We also loved how we could easily walk to town and the market for shopping and more fun. Overall, there’s really nothing bad to say about our experience here, and we’re super excited to make another trip. 10/10 :)

We loved our stay the staff was amazing and very helpful. bit shout outs to Victor, Maria, Luis, Betty, Mike, Carlos, and many more that I am sure I forgot. The hotel although older was very well kept and comfortable. Our only complaints were the loud music from the neighboring hotel at night. We did wish the food at the buffet was a little better, there wasn't much of a change in selections, and no flavor at all. At breakfast you had the option of cooked to order eggs/omelet's, would suggest strongly that you load up. Dinner was a real disappointment most nights. Activities and pools where very enjoyable, but we made the most of the day trips out. you can walk 5 minutes outside the hotel to a small shopping plaza, that was a bit over priced, but everything we found is negotiable. Or take the 30 min walk to 5th Ave, tons of shopping, food, music take the ferry over to Cozumel for the day. There are also ruins to explore the walk to 5th ave. make a full day of it so much to see and do. We are already planning our next trip back.

There was no water every day, the events that took place at the hotel were very noisy, for those who went to relax, it ends up being stressful, the buffet food had no variety, very greasy. Staff is very kind, especially Ulisses at check in, it seems that only he works at the reception 😂 he is always available, he should receive a job promotion.

Check in, they said come back at 3 and our room would be ready. 3:00 complete chaos, people yelling upset. We waited in line for an hour to first be told there was no rooms, then she said we have rooms but no hot water anywhere and no ac in some, so there shipping their guest to a resort 20 minutes south. Said that wouldn't work as we have diving package paid for and the taxi fare would be expensive. Not to mention that resort was remote nothing down there. Finally insisted on a room there which we then had to wait again for a room. People were upset that the hotel lied to them about the whole situation which meant a loss of a half a day of their vacation before they got moved to other resort. We settled for no hot water but it was more that that. Ac hit and miss no water in shower for 2 days finally my husband blew up and the got the shower working. During this time we did not see any work crews on property. Left me to wonder how they were washing dishes when there was no hot water on property at all. The i thought about people not wanting to take cold showers and using pool. My husband and i have traveled a lot and was our 3rd time here. The condition overall of the property has diminished. We are not hard to please but the lying and misleading communication is unacceptable. So many people derailed by their actions, just sad. Will never come back here and will continue to let our group know what has happened to this resort. 😒
