We loved staying here. The staff are so friendly and work hard to please each person. Our favourite tram driver (Martin) always greeted us with the biggest smile and always asked how we were doing. The performers put on stellar shows each night. The rooms and grounds were kept clean. Overall an excellent time. There is something there for everyone to enjoy! We would love to go back.

Under construction. Needs updating throughout. Package tier is unclear. Didn’t honor “platinum” despite being sold platinum by Expedia. Found out two other groups who booked through Expedia had same experience. Hotel will try to upsell you to platinum. Only handful of food options. Bar tender at main pool bar isn’t the friendliest guy. Felt like we were a bother when we asked for anything. Pushy sales people scattered throughout from excursions, photographers, time share sales, etc. We needed medical care. Only first aid available (band aid and antiseptic) despite claim of medical staff on site. Medical staff unequipped to handle small cut. Not very helpful. Advised would need to take a ride to a “sketchy area” to the hospital. Food was about a 2-3 out of 5. Very spread apart resort so super inconvenient to access anything. Kids entertainment was lack luster. Would not visit again. Concierge Betzy was fantastic and very helpful! Wendy (waitress) was also great!

Our stay was okay overall. The walk-in pool rooms and Platinum bar service were highlights, and breakfast was fantastic thanks to Francisco’s exceptional service. However, check-in was disorganized, with delays in getting our second room. Some special touches for my husband’s birthday didn’t go as planned, including a $70 balloon arrangement that had fallen apart before we even got to the room. Food quality was ok, great breakfast, but other meals were more like standard buffet fare than authentic cuisine. The beach had seasonal seaweed and odor, and the Platinum pool, though nice, wasn’t strictly adults-only. We might return after renovations are complete to give the resort another chance.

Overall the resort was great; clean rooms, nice pools, restaurants & buffets had good food. The staff was friendly (most of them). A large portion of the resort was under construction (buildings and pools). Unfortunately we could not swim in the ocean much because of the relentless seaweed. Not sure if anything can be done about that.
