1. We had no control over temperature in hotel and room. Room was never cold. 2. Only able to make 3 reservations in the restaurant on a 7 night stay. 3. Goodof the staff in food services only spoke spanish so communication was an issue.

It is very unfortunate that the hard work of the many workers in this resort, waiters, waitresses, bar tenders, cleaning ladies, staff, etc, is ruined by the ineptitude of the reception desk, and the reception staff. Long waits for check in, no AC in the reception at 100F degrees, no early check in (check in at 3pm only, sorry for your luck if you arrive early after your long flight), no explanation whatsoever of the facility and or schedule of activities, no availability for any dinner reservation on their 5 restaurants for days, but very well interested on telling you about the sales person that will try to sell you the Iberostar resort membership, very interested on telling you about all of the additional charges for the day, etc. And to top it off, when someone so nice to had found my cell phone lost in the Chichen Itza park, and wanted to drop it off for me, the wonderful and gracious reception desk ladies Jessica and Blanca (July 4th, at 8pm) could not hold my phone while I was only 5 minutes away from pick it up???? Seriously??? Apparently there is a policy of the hotel that "reception will never hold guest valuables" at their desk. Well, it is too bad that such a great policy has ruined my stay at your resort. Again, the hard workers at that place do NOT deserve the crappy service of the reception whatsoever. NEVER AGAIN, AND NEVER WILL RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE EVER.

The property is poorly laid out. There are not handicap accessible rooms. The staff does not hold true to their promises and statements. The food is terrible. Upon checking in, they failed to mention that each room is only allowed 3 reservations for “fine dining” per 7 days. So, the 4 other days are left for the same buffet, which is not great. The servers and bartenders are the best part of the resort, they are prompt and friendly. The excursions are poorly represented, and even misrepresented just to sell. There is no nightlife, aside from shows that are only about an hour long. So, after the show you are left to fend for yourself! The room service was pure disappointment, as it is present to be a top notch amenity. And, there are very little activities for teenagers to participate in. Overall, would not recommend, especially if you are traveling with elderly or disabled individuals. Aside from spending time with family, this was not a great reservation and the worst resort I have ever stayed at.

We were extremely satisfied with this hotel. The employees were so gracious and amazing! The grounds were being tended to daily, our room was kept tidy the pool was exquisite, only a few steps from the beautiful will keep beach. So thankful to have taken this trip!

I did NOT like the staff and we left the first day. We were quoted a price over the phone for a friend that decided to join us after our initial reservation and told we had to add her when we arrived and checked in. When we went to check in the price they quoted was more than doubled. Long story short, we’ve traveled all over the world and we’ve been to Mexico too many times to count and this was by far the worst experience we’ve had. They were beyond disrespectful and had horrible customer service.
