I have traveled to almost 100 countries and this has to be one of the worst experiences of my life. I contacted the host upon checking in and letting her know that the bedsheets were dirty and there was hair everywhere on the bed and all over the apartment floor.. instead of apologizing and giving me an option to fix it, she decided to tell me that there is no way the apartment was dirty because she was there herself with the cleaning crew. I sent pictures to her, and yet she continued to tell me that she saw no stains on the bed and no hair. This is when I decided to contact customer service and after reviewing my photos, they decided that I was due a full refund, so I quickly checked out of her apartment and went elsewhere. For some reason, she continued to attempt disputing the refund, however, it was evident to VRBO that I was due a refund due to the lack of cleanliness. Iâm sure she will respond to this post and try to defend her actions, but I have pictures that I am providing for you all to see. There are much much better places for you to stay in Playa so please think 10 times before booking here. I highly recommend that you do not come here.
