The Space:

This spacious Portland home is perfectly arranged for families and groups of up to 10 guests. With a Walk Score of 95, you are just two blocks from Hawthorne Street, putting you right in the middle of the city's best dining and culture. You can easily walk to iconic local spots like Powell's Books, Por Que No, and Blue Star Donuts, or head to nearby Mount Tabor for a nature hike.



Living Spaces

The main floor features a comfortable living room with a large-screen TV, flowing into a formal dining room with a huge custom table. The fully equipped kitchen provides everything you need to prepare group meals at home. Outside, a picturesque front porch offers a great spot to relax on warm evenings.



Bedrooms and Bathrooms

The home includes five bedrooms and three full bathrooms, featuring four king beds and a dedicated kids space:

- Master Suite 1 (Upper Floor): King bed and an ensuite bathroom with a shower.

- Master Suite 2 (Upper Floor): King bed and an ensuite bathroom with a jacuzzi tub and shower.

- Bedroom 3: King bed.

- Bedroom 4: King bed.

- Bedroom 5 / Playroom (Lower Floor): Two twin beds, a teepee, toys, games, and a TV. (Please note there is no bathroom on this lower level).

-Brand new back deck for enjoying a BBQ with friends.



A third full bathroom with a shower/tub combo is located on the main floor. For guests who like watching movies in bed, there are three additional TVs located throughout the sleeping areas.



Additional Amenities

Enjoy modern conveniences including central air conditioning, high-speed WiFi, free on-premise parking, and a full-sized washer and dryer for refreshing your gear after a hike. Dogs are welcome to join you (a pet fee applies per stay).



240v 30 amp EV charging outlet available in the garage. Please remember to turn the breaker on while charging in adjacent breaker box and turn the breaker off after charging.



Guest Access:

Our guests will have access to everything in the main house; this is a perfectly private rental. There is a long-term tenant in the separated basement unit but the guests will have the entire home and outdoor areas to themselves.



NOTE: The basement tenant unit is completely private with its own entrance.



The Neighborhood:

Located in Portland’s historic Richmond/Hawthorne district (voted one of the best neighborhoods in Portland by Sunset Magazine). You are steps from legendary food carts, vintage clothing stores, craft breweries, and cozy coffee shops. Mt. Tabor Park a dormant volcano with sweeping city views, is just a short walk or drive away.



Getting Around:

-- No need to bring a car to house with its 90 walk score (100 bike score!) and proximity to everything, but if you do, there is a driveway and garage for guest use as well as extensive street parking.

Security Deposit (Non-Airbnb Bookings Only)

For direct or non-Airbnb bookings, a refundable damage deposit of up to $1,000 is required (exact amount confirmed upon booking). Deposits are processed separately and fully refunded the day after checkout, pending a clear inspection. If any damage occurs, guests will receive itemized documentation before any deductions are made.

To comply with City of Portland short-term rental regulations, all confirmed guests must provide the following information prior to check-in:

Property & Accessibility Notes



Accessibility: This home is not ADA accessible. Stairs are required to access the front entrance, upper level, and basement level.



On-Site Tenant: A quiet, full-time long-term tenant lives in the completely separate basement ADU. They have a private entrance and will not share any of your space or impact your stay.



Maintenance: Landscaping service occurs bi-weekly (typically on Tuesdays).



House Policies



100% Smoke-Free Property: Smoking or vaping of any kind is strictly prohibited anywhere indoors or outdoors on the property. Violations result in an $800 fine and potential eviction.



Quiet Hours: City-mandated quiet hours are observed from 9:00 PM – 8:00 AM on weekdays and 10:00 PM – 8:00 AM on weekends.



Pet Policy: We welcome up to 2 well-behaved dogs (25 lbs or under). Pet fees are charged after booking: $50 total per pet for stays under 20 days; $200 per pet for stays 21+ days. Please inquire in advance for other pets.
