The Cottage at River Run!

Welcome to the Cottage at River Run! Your private oasis nestled on 1.8 acres backing the Tualatin River.
This cottage comfortably sleeps eight with an upper loft area with a full bed and two twin beds and views of the river! The lower level has a private deck, kitchen, 3/4 bath, queen Murphy bed and full sofa bed.
The space
This cottage boasts a private boat dock shared only with the property owners. Miles of trails that lead to and around Cook Park which offers 79 acres of outdoor area - the areas largest park! You are no more than a 5-20 min drive, or Uber ride to the bustling Bridgeport Village shopping center, Downtown Portland, Downtown Lake Oswego, or many of the areas finest local vineyards in Yamhill County.
Guest access
You will have access to the entire property which includes 1.4 acres of waterfront. Peaceful and private. Staying here is like staying at a resort!

We had a wonderful stay at the cute cottage on this beautiful riverfront property. My husband and I are originally from the area and came into town to visit family. We were pleasantly surprised to discover this hidden oasis that felt private and secluded, yet still right in town. The cottage was cozy, peaceful, and the perfect place to relax. We would happily stay here again!

Beautiful and relaxing cottage!

We absolutely loved our stay at this charming VRBO! The home was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. The landscaping was absolutely beautiful—thoughtfully designed and so peaceful, it felt like our own private retreat. The property had a quaint, welcoming feel, and the attention to detail throughout the space did not go unnoticed. We truly appreciated how clean and well-maintained everything was. Highly recommend this gem for anyone looking for a relaxing and picturesque getaway!

Cute unit w/wonderful bird sounds

It was a nice place to stay for just me. I had a problem with ants on the 2nd night after running the shower water, but luckily there were ant traps on hand. The view is nice from the patio. I would recommend having an umbrella for guests to borrow and a new set of pans. The medium sauce pan is missing and the pans definitely seem like they have been used a lot. Maybe a few ceramic plates. Plastic doesn't always do well in the microwave. It was a great location for the places I wanted to visit & I loved listening to the birds outside while drinking my morning coffee.

Charming Cottage near River

Property was as advertised. Great stop for a couple or small family. Beautiful location. Did not get a chance to use some of offers from the host to enjoy the river more closely. Good communication from the host. Would stay again and recommend to others.

Cute cottage

Loved staying at this cute and peaceful cottage. Very quiet neighborhood. It was the perfect place to unwind and rest after a day of seeing sites and hiking. Everything you need is available there and the owner was very welcoming. The property is beautiful and the dock was so nice to sit and drink coffee in the morning by the river.

Peaceful & So Comfortable

This was our second stay at the cottage over the Thanksgiving weekend and it did not disappoint. It was wonderful. The hosts are so nice. The property is warm, welcoming, and everything we need and want in a vacation rental. The cottage is appointed nicely and so comfortable. The grounds are very well kept. so much so, we are hoping to be able to book another stay during the spring/summer so we get a chance to experience the property during a different season.

Peaceful Retreat

The Cottage is in an excellent location and the property is unbelievable, as you would never know you were in the city. River frontage, gorgeous grounds you won't want to leave. The Cottage is well equipped and very comfortable. Ideal location for people planning on local wine tasting excursions or just relaxing on the deck.

A breath of fresh air

Scenery breath taking so peaceful coffee on the deck a delight. Parking for friends visiting could not have been better and the flowers as you drive up to cottage made it so inviting. The floating dock with bench and the availability of kayaking was great.

The cottage

Centrally located with easy access to downtown, yet secluded in quiet forest setting. Perfect setting for either s’mores by the camp fire or an evening on the town. Sleeps six but might be a little crowded with more than 4. Hosts were accessible if needed but otherwise seldom seen. Highly recommend.

A perfect stay!

The cottage is a tiny home that feels bigger. Plenty of beds for everyone- the kids slept upstairs and we slept downstairs. Every morning we enjoyed tea on the cozy back deck. We went kayaking nearly every day, which was a huge bonus! We loved taking walks to Cook Park, or to Trader Joe’s. Turk and Cynthia were wonderful hosts. We are hoping to come back next summer!
