Had a lovely stay here for three days. At today's costs, this place is a bargain. The room, newly renovated, was immaculate and very well appointed. Over the three days, it was very quiet. In spite of location on a busy street, I always, as a single female, felt safe. There was little to no disturbing property traffic on any of the days I stayed. Though both rooms adjacent to mine were occupied, I was never disturbed. In fact, I only knew they were occupied due to the no vacancy sign. Better yet, no ridiculous "deposit", as many places now charge. While basic (no breakfast, gym, premium channels or laundry), it otherwise was definitely on par with the more expensive hotels in the area. The manager/owners were the best! Warm but professional, thoughtful and made certain my stay was comfortable and had everything I needed. If staying a few days, without a busy tourism schedule, it's a good idea to bring a portable DVD player and movies for entertainment, as I did. It would benefit the property to include some form of premium channels. That said, I'd stay here again in a heartbeat! A very pleasant experience.

Room was clean, bathroom extremely clean but no light inside, had to keep the door open to use vanity light. Room was too bright for my taste, but otherwise, no noise all night at all, had all I needed for my stay, and felt safe too.

This is a lovely hotel, very conveniently located to Monterey and Salinas and so many beautiful places of interest. The staff is awesome. The rooms were clean and quiet and comfortable. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Brand new room. Spotless with clean sheets, no smells, heater woejed with no smells or noises. Tv worked great. New appliances. Spitless bathroom!!!!! Clean floors & tables. Iutlets worked.
