THE SPACE
Bright and airy with high ceilings and a private keyless entry, this Spanish-style detached guest house was recently remodeled with amenities that will make you feel right at home.

Spacious queen-size bed with new premium bedding that will accommodate up to two people comfortably. Or the queen-size memory foam sofa bed makes a comfy optional 2nd bed. Washer/Dryer unit in bedroom closet.

You'll have access to high-speed internet and SmartTV with all major streaming services.

The full-size kitchen is equipped with full-size appliances and all the necessities, allowing you the space to make anything from cocktails before your dinner downtown or for nights in cooking your favorite meal.

Enjoy the breathtaking outdoor space: sun-soaked pool with sunbathing shelf, cozy lounge area with firepit, putting green and bocce ball court. And of course, you may have a few friendly greetings from our dogs, Darby & JJ.

GUEST ACCESS
Guest house located at the back of property, accessed via the driveway with an automatic gate (we will provide the code).

There is a keypad located at the front door for a simple key-less entry. Entry code will be provided to you prior to arrival. The code is changed after every guest.

You will have private access to the entire guest house and shared access to the pool and back patio/firepit

PARKING:
Ample street parking always available

INTERNET:
The house has reliable high speed internet throughout the entire space. You can access your Hulu, Amazon Prime, Netflix, etc. accounts with the Smart TV

BEDROOM:
There is 1 bedroom with queen bed and the living room sofa folds out to a queen-size memory foam bed. We allow 2 guests.

BATHROOM:
Private bathroom with walk-in shower and large vanity with ample storage space. We provide hairdryer, towels, hand soap, toilet paper, shampoo/conditioner.

KITCHEN:
Fully equipped with a refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, and all basic kitchen essentials: pots/pans, plates, cups, utensils, spices/oil, coffee, dish towels, hand soap, paper towels, dishwasher soap, & trash can liners.

POOL:
Pool is not gated and no lifeguard on duty. Guests assume all risks of use.

PET FRIENDLY:
This property is dog-friendly. We allow 1 dog, as long as they are friendly and well-behaved (Sorry no cats) and the below Pet Agreement is signed. There is an additional, non-refundable charge of $100 per dog. This helps us ensure we can properly clean the home for future guests who may have allergies.
Please message us prior to booking if you plan to bring your dog with you. If we do approve your dog, we will send you the Pet Agreement for signature. Once you sign the agreement and book we will request the additional pet fee from you. If we discover that there is an undisclosed pet in the home, you will be charged an additional fee.
PET AGREEMENT:
-The dog must be healthy and up to date (required every 3 years) on rabies and DHPP (vaccines for Distemper, Adenovirus (Hepatitis), Parainfluenza and Parvovirus).
-The dog must be flea and tick free and current on prevention treatment.
-Guests are responsible for cleaning up any and all dog refuse, as well as cleaning dog before he/she comes indoors. Large towels are provided or Guests may bring their own. Please do not use bath towels.
-Dog waste bags are provided. Please bag and dispose of waste in the can behind the guest house.
-Guests will use either the Casita Manzanita backyard or the road outside to walk the dog to urinate and defecate. There is also MacKenzie Park off-leash dog park a few blocks from the house. Guests will not let the dog relieve itself in the neighbors’ yards.
-A dog bed is provided. The dog is not allowed on the guest bed, chairs or couch at any time. This helps keep the guest house as clean as possible for future guests. Evidence any pet soiling/damage on bed or bedding may incur extra cleaning or replacement fees.
-As responsible pet owners, Guests agree to accept full and complete responsibility for any personal injury or property damage caused by the dog or suffered by any person during Guests’ stay at Casita Manzanita.
-Any guest staying for more than 13 days will be required to use Casita Manzanita’s cleaning service. This service must be used once every two weeks at a charge of $150 per cleaning.
-Guests understand that Casita Manzanita will charge accordingly for the repair of any damages, additional cleaning requirements, or flea treatment caused by dog’s presence or behavior.
