Spacious 1 Bdrm Pet friendly Rental/ short walk to Village

Summary:

The Tack House Features a beautiful 1 Bedroom upstairs apartment. Sleeps 2-4 people with a newly remodeled bathroom. Enter the Apartment through a private interior staircase up to an open floor plan. Kitchen, Dining & Living Room areas are spacious.

The entire property compound has 3 other units - a 2 bed/2 bath Main level unit below this 1 bedroom unit, a stand-alone 5 bed/4 bath house which was fully renovated in 2022 and a stand-alone 2 bed/2 bath Carriage House. All 3 buildings (4 different units)combined, can accommodate 30 people (maximum-24 in beds and 6 on sleeper sofas). Please Email us for more information if you need accommodations for a large group.

The Space:
This 1 bedroom upper unit has a completely separate entrance (with a regular flight of stairs), above the two bed unit downstairs. The main living area, kitchen, dining and live room is very spacious. It has a queen sleeper sofa. The bedroom has a queen size bed. It is very private and quiet and fully soundproofed.

Guest Access:
The parking lot is large but shared area with 2 other two bedroom units. Please inquire with owner for additional parking if you have more than 2 cars.

We checked out Winterfest 2025 weekend and were so pleased with this unit! Pictures and description exactly as advertised, adorably decorated with a definite lake feel and only a mile from downtown which is so perfect as you're not in the hustle/bustle of downtown crowds/noise/traffic yet pretty much right there! Would recommend and would return!

Always a great stay -3rd time!!

We love Skaneateles and this 1 bedroom rental has been perfect for a couple who has stayed here twice before. This time another family member accompanied us and it was still comfortable. We love the proximity to town. Check in and communication with owner is flawless. We will be back.

Long weekend stay

Location was very close to town. Debbie the property manager maintained great communication up until check in and to verify that everything was good at the property. She made sure that we knew she was available if we had any questions or problems. The property was very clean and comfortable. Very happy with our stay and we would definitely plan on staying there again.

Relaxing Getaway!

This property is exactly as listed. We enjoyed our time here. I had to work in town and I enjoyed the walk to and from. My hubby was able to comfortably relax here and walk our little dog in the huge yard. In the evenings we hung out in chairs overlooking the corn fields - watching the deer and the beautiful sunsets!

Great place!!!!

Myself and my dog, Roxie Rose stayed at this property for a couple nights. If I didn’t have to return to get back to my business, I would’ve extended my stay if it was available. Beautiful place and extremely clean!! The owner Debbie was wonderful, and even took the time to make sure that I had no problems checking in. The town itself is awesome, and just minutes away from this property. It was wonderful having everything right close by, but yet getting back and having the beautiful scenery and peace and quiet while at the property. The yard and field around it was wonderful for my dog. I will be returning every couple months! 😁

Family wedding weekend

My two siblings and I were looking for a place to stay while attending a family wedding in Skaneateles. This turned out to be a perfect choice. The backyard was a lovely place to sit and enjoy the view along with my morning coffee. The apartment itself was very clean, comfortable and nicely furnished. Debbie was responsive to our questions, both before and during our stay. I would highly recommend this property.

Easy & efficient

Short pleasure trip to Skaneateles. Wanted lodging so that we could bring our small dog. Worked out great. Upstairs, but still very nice. Clean and attractively decorated. Very short drive to downtown. Would not be a safe walk as the house is on a busy highway, although it is a short distance to town. Loved it! Thanks very much.
