Great Value for the rates.. The staff were courteous and helpful. The property shows the age.. but all the basic amenities required were available. Breakfast was a plus and had good toast. Wished to have seen more choices.. but no compliants.

When I arrived they asked for $100 to hold in case I smoked which is not allowed. I only had $130 left and I had to drive from Syracuse NY to NH the next day and I was very upset. I did not see this on Expedia when I booked the hotel. It should be in BOLD letters. Also the first keys they gave me wouldn’t open door 401. Because the door key card machine is broken. The guy at the desk said they are putting new ones in during renovation. I wasn’t the only one this happened to. This was frustrating cause I just wanted to go to my room and get ready for bed I was exhausted. But the room was clean and it looked nice. But the rest of the hotel was old looking. But for $70 it was still okay.

Very outdated hotel

Hoyel was very outdated. I paid over $300 per night and was expecting a nice hotel. We didn't even stay at the hotel the 2nd night because my wife was "grossed"out by the condition of the room and the hotel in general. The TV was a very old small TV.

I appreciate they are under renovations but not thrilled with the fact there wasn't any blankets in the room. Two top sheets were the "blanket" and not even one folded on a shelf in the room at all. While I am sure I could have asked for one, don't feel I should have to when getting a hotel room to at least have one real blanket in the room. Otherwise staff was friendly and courteous.

Front desk attendant was very rude, I’ve never been talked to the way this woman spoke to me. Definitely would NOT recommend this hotel just based on her attitude and the way she treated a customer. Worst customer service I have ever experienced and I travel often.
