Apple View- Quiet, handicap accessible country home with a hot tub!
Come enjoy the season at our home! âïžđ·đđ Family friendly & handicap accessible space. In a rural setting surrounded by apple orchards. Visit with cows and goats. Less than 15 minutes to Sodus Bay with easy access to Finger Lakes wineries, Rochester and Syracuse. The perfect place to enjoy all the Finger Lakes and Lake Ontario have to offer!
We really enjoyed our stay here. Owner was responsive to our only issue (couldn't get the grill going, probably user error!) and we were able to get it working. Hot tub was amazing. Loved getting to see the cows whenever they grazed by behind the yard, the baby was the cutest.
The house was clean and spacious. The owners were easy to communicate with and were responsive to our needs. It was perfect for my parents, who needed a bed and walk in shower on the first floor.
We enjoyed our time at the farmhouse! Beds were very comfortable. Hot tub was enjoyable. The fact that it was handicap accessible was fantastic as one guest recently needed the use of a wheelchair . She was also able to enjoy the patio with all of us. She was also able to navigate the downstairs easily. Thank you for an amazing weekend
We were in town for the weekend attending a family reunion in Sodus Point. The house was exceptionally clean and very spacious. Very nice amenities. Would definitely recommend it to others.
The property was beautiful, communication with the property manager was excellent, check in process was very easy. This property was an excellent addition to my wedding weekend.
If you are looking for peace and quiet, this totally updated VRBO farmhouse won't disappoint. The peaceful patio area with the hot tub is surrounded by large trees. There are beautiful apple orchard views and open pastures seen from all the windows. The house has open view rooms and was very clean. The road is quiet and there are many places for long and rambling walks.
The nearby town has cute restaurants, is near the museum, light house and the beach. There are many farm stands, local food shops and antiques nearby. If you are interested in apple picking or wineries, there are many.
The owners are close by in case you need anything and are quite pleasant. If you have any questions, they respond and handle them rapidly.
Apple View was a charming home. It was our base for attending a family wedding in Phelps. We also had the opportunity to travel to Sodus Point and enjoy the lake and dinner at one of the many restaurants. Apple view was clean and comfortable. Three full bathrooms made getting ready for the wedding easy! We had a wonderful stay.
Great property on less traveled road. Three generations of 5 adults from our family stayed for 3 nights and had plenty of room with comfortable sleeping. Nice kitchen with basic supplies for cooking with flat top grill outside which we used nightly.
It's a beautiful home. Big kitchen to cook and have family fun time. Nice sitting area outside back yard along with a wonderful hot tub. Nice place to take walks and a beautiful view with apple trees all around. We really enjoyed our stay may rent every year if available. Thank you to the owners
I was sick so I didnât do much but my family did enjoy it. Wilmer is a very nice guy. If you have a problem he is just a text away and he does come and take care of the house. Itâs a nice house we hope to enjoy again next year.
The kitchen, dining and livingroom are all open and allow for a large group to eat together. Close to the lake and wineries. Bed are good! We enjoyed the hot tub.
Exceptionally quiet and private location. Clean and comfortable. All systems function as they should. Mattresses and couches like new, comfortable, good quality. TV worked great. Wifi/internet connection solid and fast.
This property was absolutely beautiful. Host was very resposive and the house had everything we needed. The hot tub was amazing. It was so peaceful and relaxing.
Very clean and spacious house out in the country. Well stocked and comfortable. We loved the quiet evenings and waking up to the sound of birds and cows mooing.Very beautiful property, canât wait to stay again.
Husband and I stayed over the Labor Day weekend. Check-in was easy-peasy. Communication with owners was great! House was super clean. There is one tv in the living room, none in the bedrooms. Air conditioning worked great. Hot tub was amazing! Apple orchards all over the whole city. Found a cute farmer's market that had the best peaches. The yard is big and it's really quiet, loved that! For activities, we went to Sodus Point Beach Park (15 min drive), which had a cute beach and a lighthouse you can walk out to. You cannot climb to the top of the lighthouse. They had a great ice cream place on the street just before the beach and we ate our cones on the beach. My favorite place was Chimney Bluffs State Park (15 min drive, $5 parking fee, bring bug spray if summer). If you take the cliff path, there are awesome, huge spires made of sand & earth right on the shoreline of Lake Ontario. Looks like a giant was trying to build sandcastles. Great for taking pics. We also went to Waterloo Premium Outlets (30 min drive), which was the largest outlet shopping we've ever seen. For restaurants, we ate at Nick's, which is a family restaurant and was nice. Also had pizza & wings (can't remember the name of the place). Overall, we loved are mini-vacation!
Sadly we didn't get to spend a lot of time out the house since we were driving back and forth to Oswego for a family wedding, but it was worth the long drive to be able to stay at such a lovely, clean, thoughtful prepared home. We needed a place that was big enough for our family (6 kids) and that was handicap accessible for my wheelchair bound father. This house checked all the boxes! And the beautiful country was an added bonus. It reminded me of childhood visits to my grandparents farm. We drove over 2000 miles to get to this wedding and stayed in a few noisy hotels on the way. Staying at Apple View was the most relaxing part of our long journey!
