Found someone’s pills in the drawer and in another drawer my son found a dead roach. Paint peeling on the wall. And water damage shown by sink/refrigerator area.

The Holland Inn is an older property that shows its age. The room was a clean though worn. The bedding was clean, though dated, and the bed was comfortable. The AC/fan worked well and muted the traffic noise that would have been noticeable without its use. The room met my basic expectations for a one night stay given the price that was charged.

This hotel advertises a 24/7 front desk, yet when I arrived to check in, nobody was there. Waited for nearly an hour, tried calling several times, no response.

Nice for the price. Friendly staff. Very spacious. It was 100 degrees outside that day, and the air conditioner was not on when we checked in that afternoon. The room was very hot, but it was cool by around 10pm. Also, the remote control for the TV was hard to operate unless you held it at a precise angle. Overall, nice stay.

The property is an older apartment building converted to a hotel which I think was a good decision. So, the rooms are more like small studios rather than a traditional hotel room which worked for me.

Property was nice, convenient and safe. It was driving distance from Los Angeles and Sequoia national park. The staff and service was great. The room didn't smell good but it was ok.
