I stay in VRBO homes for every trip I book. I don’t even bother with other sites. I truly want to give five-star reviews when they’re earned, which makes this one especially disappointing.Booking was easy, and the host, Justin, was responsive, easy to communicate with, and went above and beyond to answer my questions, accommodate changes, and help however he could. I booked this house because it’s the same model I stayed in two years ago in the same neighborhood, so I already knew the layout worked well for our large group.Unfortunately, the condition of this home was very poor. It gave me an “ick” feeling the entire stay. When you see that many visible issues, you start wondering what can’t be seen. Call me a snob, but some of this is what I’d expect in a condemned house. The guests clearly haven’t taken care of the place, but ultimately it’s on the owner to address these issues or update the listing photos so they’re accurate.The TV in the bedroom didn’t work the entire time, which was upsetting since that’s how we usually relax at night. The dryer shut off every five minutes, and when I looked inside, there were mounds of debris and dirt. The outside of the house was also neglected.The location was good, but overall the condition of the property ruined the experience. Unfortunately, I would not stay here again.

Great place for a big family

We came in to stay for a wedding that was happening nearby. We showed up on Friday and the larger part of our family came on Saturday. I was overall happy with our accommodations. The house was plenty big enough for all of us. My husband and I took the downstairs room so we did not use the upstairs until our family came on Saturday. When the rest of our family came, they indicated that a toilet was leaking. I quickly contacted the host. The host told us the people prior to us overfilled the bath tub. Once we wiped up the water, it did not show back up. So we told the host that they probably didn’t need to send anyone. There were a lot of water marks on the ceiling on the first floor, I assume from the previous guest’s issue. One downfall was, we specifically rented this place because of the pool. In the instructions that they left there was no indication on how to get to the pool or use it. We were told by other people that the pool was down the road at the ‘community center’ and that you needed to go get a key to get in. The host didn’t mention that and it also didn’t seem like it was for weekend guests. Additionally, when we went to do dishes there wasn’t any dishwashing liquid, which makes me wonder if any of the dishes had been washed with soap. Another thing my family mentioned was that the coffee pot had coffee grounds in it that were molded over from not being cleaned out. Ultimately, issues were small and resolvable. Nice place to stay!

Never stay at this house

WARNING FOR ANYONE INTERESTED IN THIS HOUSE-DO NOT STAY HERE. FIRST WE CHECKED IN AND BOTH THE REFRIGERATOR AND THE GRILL WERE NOT WORKING. THE GRILL LOOKED LIKE IT HAD NOT BEEN CLEANED EVER. BEDS ARE INCREDIBLY UNCOMFORTABLE, HOUSE HAS NO LINENS AND IS BARELY STOCKED WITH ANYTHING. MATTRESS BEDS ALL LEAK. NOT EVEN A COFFEE TABLE TO PLACE A DRINK. HOST IS INCREDIBLY RUDE AND OBNOXIOUS AND ALSO TRIED TO SCAM THE INSURANCE POLICY THAT HE MADE US PURCHASE STATING THAT THERE WAS REFRIGERATOR DAMAGE AFTER HE SENT US A USED REFRIGERATOR TO,REPLACE THE ONE THAT DID NOT WORK. I HAVE BEEN RENTING FROM VRBO-AIR-BNB FOR YEARS AND THIS WAS THE WORST HOME EVER RENTED. TRUST ME YOU WILL BE EXTREMELY DISSAPOINTED AS THIS OWNER IS A COMPLETE OBNOXIOUS LIAR.

great house, be prepared for hour drive to beach.

House was great. Some disappointing things: The gas grill was unworkable as only one knob works and the start valve does not work. There were zero kitchen towels or kitchen wash cloths. The pots and pans are very worn. (We like to cook.)
