The Staff was very kind to my daughter . They held her luggage for her while she picked me up. Sadly we were only there one night,but I would stay there again. The room was spacious and clean and staff very friendly and helpful

There really wasn’t much wrong. The staff are great, bed was comfy. There really just wasn’t much added value. It’s fine if you just need a place to rest your head and then go out around downtown Toronto. The best thing is the location.

July getaway

Beautiful hotel, one star taken off solely to bathroom design. When opening shower door, water ran onto marble floor and out into the main room entryway. This is a potential safety issue.

I like this hotel, have stayed once before. It was really clean. We realized our room was a bit dirty at check in but didn't want to make a fuss. As the night went on kept finding more dirty areas. Housekeeping should pay more attention. No one wants blood stains on their sheets or dirty floors and counters. By the time we realized the sheets weren't very clean it was already late and we just decided to go to sleep. The staff are however very nice. If we'd gone down they likely would have fixed it but it shouldn't have been left that way in the first place. There were also dishes in the dishwasher - "clean" but two bowls full of dirty water as someone washed them right side up. Just lots of small cleanliness concerns.

Gave us the wrong room and purposely didn’t tell us. Employee blamed the discrepancy in the third party booking site, however they didn’t even mention anything when first checking in. The first room the shower leaked really bad, terrible airflow and terrible AC. The floors in the bathroom are very slippery as well, to the point they pose as a safety hazard. Had them upgrade the room for inconvenience and the new room had a faulty door that wouldn’t close. Asked for maintenance to take a look at the door and was given attitude while speaking with them. Overall would not stay again, great location, but terrible experience.

Great location, great room, amazing staff.

This is our second time staying at the Pantages, and not likely our last. Thanks to Hotels.com, we scored an upgraded room, and it was amazing. A large entertaining area and a separate large bedroom with queen bed had us feeling like we were living the Toronto life for a weekend. It was definitely more apartment/condo than typical hotel room. Couches were comfortable, Bed was comfortable (excellent pillows), and everything was super clean. The location is great - you're walking distance to everything you'd want in the downtown core, and most importantly, my favourite breakfast spot in Toronto is in the same building. Seriously, go to Fran's for breakfast. The staff are excellent - everyone was super friendly, and always helpful.

We stayed for a night before our flight back to the UK. Parking is the main issue but we managed to get into the underground parking across the road. Check in was fine and the room was good and spacious. Not too far away is the St Lawrence market and lots of places to eat. Breakfast was ok but not anything special.

We stayed here for the last 2 nights of or Canada stay and wished we hadn't bothered. We arrived late and couldn't find our way in as the building shares with residences. The night receptionist was pleasant when we got in though. When we got into our room it had a strange smell and was not the Queen suite we had booked. The receptionist did all he could to help and we ended up with a king suite. All the rooms we viewed were a little tired with out of date decor. Considering the rooms were only around £30 - £35 cheaper than the Soho, that we stayed in earlier, it was not value for money.
