It is a very good location close to restaurants, shopping and Queen St. streetcar. It was very quiet and comfortable. However, the Netflix didn't work. I talked to front desk and they sent someone to my room. He was able to get into Netflix, but then he left and when I pressed enter for a movie, the screen went blank. I didn't want to bother him again, so just watched cable, but was disappointed.

Thank you for taking the time to complete a review of your experience with us. Please note that all of our Deluxe rooms do have a refrigerator and a microwave and/or refrigerator is generally one request away.....we usually have one or two spares on hand. Thanks again for the time taken. Sincerely, Greg H

Don't trust the hotel

Parking issues were not disclosed or available until I inquired at check in. No onsite parking, not even close parking. Parking was 5 blocks away in a city garage. Fees were not disclosed before check in and the paper that was provided at check on has inaccurate data on it. The fees are higher than they say. Floors are cheap laminate and pop and creak with every step across the floor. Will never stay there again.

Most conveniently located.

Pros: (see above)
A block from the subway and three from Union Station, this modest, smoothly-run, meticulously serviced hotel was perfect for my wife and me, urban walkers and explorers that we are. The housekeeping left nothing to be desired, likewise the bed comfort, climate control, and bathroom facilities. The desk staff did their work professionally and with personal warmth.

Family Vacation

We stayed for one night in our way to other cities. The staff is not to helpful however the hotel is cute and comfortable. The only bad thing is that if you bring a car be prepare for leaving your car 2 blocks away from the hotel. Is no parking or valet parking available.

Pleasant stay close to everything!

Pros: Convenient location and reasonably priced.
Cons: Front desk courtesy. Guests should be made to feel welcome, not as an inconvenience interrupting whatever you were doing prior to arrival.
Location: Hockey Hall of Fame is a must-do. Terrific dining and nightlife. Convenient to major tourist attractions.
Historic and beautiful hotel literally next door to the Hockey Hall of Fame and convenient (short 15 minute walk) to Rogers Centre, Air Canada Center and CN Tower. On Yonge street and close to all attractions and many wonderful restaurants. This is an old hotel, so be aware that rooms are smaller as that was the style in the early 1900's. The only unpleasant experience was the hotel desk staff at check-in came across as overly pretentious and unfriendly. While he "did his job" and checked us in, pointed out directions, etc. - he certainly was not welcoming. Fortunately, the other staff (notably housekeeping) picked up the slack and were very cordial and accommodating. Overall, good value for the location for singles/couples and those wanting a historic hotel in a convenient location.

This place is old and rundown.

Pros: Close restaurants
This place has not been renovated since the sixties and the rooms are tiny. It is in a great location and depending on what you want to spend could be a good deal (I guess), but it I wouldnt walk around the room withou my shoes on.

Worst hotel I ever stayed at. The air conditioner blew hot air and smelled like mold. management would not do anything to correct the problem. I checked out a day early fearing for my health. I wouldn't stable a horse at this place!!!
