This property was good!! But the hallway smell like wet dog! I’m sure this facility is pet friendly and is ok But I will like to give you my opinion Keep alll guest with pets in one floor! To avoid the wet dog smell all over your facility

Very friendly staff and helpful. The room was perfectly clean and quiet. The only think missing was a micro wave, but other than that, my stay was perfect. I travel for work and for a weekend, the price was right. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance. A great place to stay and will return. Thanks!

Nice hotel, close to everything.

Pros: Clean, good food, nice staff.
Cons: Lighting in the pool/jacuzzi area at night.
Location: Old Ventura, shopping, restaurants, beach.
Had a lovely time, staff was helpful, restaurant was excellent, room was clean, hotel pretty and close to everything. Our only complaint was the lighting at night by the pool and jacuzzi, there was none. Very dark, difficult to manouver around, particularly with the wet ground, definitely an accident waiting to happen.

Nice hotel close to the beach.

Pros: We asked for a quiet room and got a quiet room - very nice.
Cons: Maybe the towels could be a little thicker.
Location: A block and a half from the ocean, so a very easy walk. Pretty much near everything.
We've stayed here before, usually just for one night as was the case this time as well. The hotel is well run, very clean, and the rooms are very nice - not terribly fancy, but overall a very good value. We always order coffee delivered to our room, and the coffee service was on time, the coffee HOT, and served with plenty of cream and sugar - wonderful - what more can you ask!

Everything But the front Desk day Clerk...

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants, Free Internet
Was Superb... This was my second stay, & 1st review, I thought maybe the tall hawaiian Concierge rude attitude was due to a bad day which we all can relate, but this second time around was uncalled for and his behavior was most unprofessional. While checking in I had simply asked what were the ribbon wrapped lollipops on the counter were for and his quick insulting answer was, "those are for are our more Elite guests".. I was so taken back by his answer I remained quietly humiliated until I got to my room. I'm a single traveling white lady with tattoo's his verbal assault was very disturbing to me. On a lighter note OUTSTANDING Valet service, I tipped them well do to there friendliness and care for my car. Hotel was beautiful great location cleanliness and good value.. But it's not enough to have me come back until the clerk at front desk is gone I'll stay at the Crown Plaza down the way... Thank you Marriott being a gold member is still good at other places

Service was ok but didnt get the room we paid for

Pros: Close restaurants, Quiet
Cons: wrong bed, broken ice machine
We pre-paid for a room with a king bed for two nights, but when we got to the hotel they had us booked for two double beds even though our paperwork stated we should have a king. I was 6 months pregnant and my boyfriend is not exactly a small guy so this sleeping arrangement really did not work for us. The staff was courteous but stated they were sold out of king beds and there was nothing they could do. Overall the room was very nice and clean though the water did tend to back up when you took a shower, the ice machine on our floor was also broken and when we told the staff about it their only response was "ok, there is a machine on the floor below yours". We didn't get to use the pool or restaurant but it looked very nice, everything was clean.

Adequate but overpriced and sneaky

Good features- comfortable bed, good shower, easy freeway access Poor features - must pay for parking ($10 per night), very tempermental card keys, no microwave, no refrigerator, TV system extremely user-unfriendly, room information limited to the hotel itself; no info on local restaurants ot attractions, breakfast available early but overpriced, noise from hallways excessive

Horrible, dirty, stained mattress, evidence of bed bugs

Do yourself a favor-stay somewhere else. The dirtiest hotel I've ever been in. Looks okay on the surface until you see the sheets are stained, the mattress cover is pee- stained and the mattress itself is stained with I don't know what. There was also evidence of bed bugs with stains on the bed skirt. Horrible! Marriott's have always been scrupulously clean. I don't know what happened to this one.
