The apartment includes a rooftop patio with simplicity, privacy and personal security as its major attraction. One must walk some 10 minutes from the main pier and up many steps to reach the property. The Studio sits atop the main Casa Parota house on the third floor and shares an outside staircase, offering a large rooftop patio and beautiful jungle view of Yelapa Bay and the surrounding mountains. The apartment includes a comfortable Queen Bed with a mosquito net, built-in 4-burner cooktop stove, and a good supply of cooking and dining utensils, along with a small refrigerator. Filtered water is provided, as are bedding and towels. The bathroom includes a tiled walk-in shower. The windows and exterior doors are barred to offer security and comfort throughout your stay. 8 MBPS Yelapa Wifi service is provided. We do not recommend this unit for children. From the house you can walk to Isabel Beach in about 10-minutes; about the same to the main village, where grocery stores and several restaurants are located. The walk to the main Yelapa Beach requires about a 20 minute trek. There are 4-wheeler motorized taxis available to haul you from the village to the large beach or up to the Yelapa Waterfall.

Birdwatching Retreat

Magically beautiful spot overlooking the bay and the town. We loved every moment of our stay - identifying about 25 species of birds from the terrace, waking to the sound of birds, making trips down to the beach, a hike to the up-river waterfall, amazing dinners and breakfasts in town, shopping at the market and getting to use the kitchen to make some of our own meals.

We loved the patio. Perfect place to do yoga, watch birds and the sunrise hits the patio directly which is amazing in the morning. The bed was comfortable and the host(s) are very responsive. The house is up on the hill, but it only takes 5-10 minutes to walk into town. Yelapa has lots going on at night and can be loud, we found the location of this house to be located perfectly as it is close to town but far enough away that you're not surrounded by it. We would definitely stay again!

A lovely quiet getaway

It is in a beautiful place. Huge lightly shaded deck. View to the bay amazing. I loved sleeping under the mosquito netting - and being able to leave the door open to bird sounds. There was an issue with a noisy water pump that was easily remedied. The shower drain is being cleared.

Loved the apartment. Balcony had great view. Nice breeze, no use for mosquito net. Kitchen was not used, but fridge was. If staying longer we might have made use of it all. Quiet. Pool great,verycomfortable sun chairs. Terrace, with great view. Staff great. Bit of a walk, plus stairs in to town.
