The hotel itself is very outdated, and not very clean. I did not have any wash cloths in my room and it took awhile to obtain them from housekeeping. Housekeeping did not want to provide any additional towels which were needed for the indoor waterpark who did not provide any towels for guest to use and we staying on the fifth floor which was considered the water guests floor. Overall the hotel itself did offer a lot of activities to keep the children entertained and the adult only pool with the bar located inside the pool was the highlight of the trip. The water park, arcade, and the restaurants were very nice!

The staff was amazing, especially Bri at the front desk. However, both my son's mattresses were beat-up, and every venting machine we tried on 10 different floors to get a bottle of water was empty. The elevators were the worst part I waited over 20 mins just for the elevator to go down and ended up having to take the stairs with my toddler, it was very inconvenient as well as hearing the room next door flush the toilet every night wish it wasn’t so loud but the staff and the arcade was great and the room was good and comfortable.

Went for the NYE party. The party was great! The rooms not so much. The first room we were given stunk like mildew. Walked in the room to find a machine called and Odor Stop plugged in. The floor in front of the windows were soaked. Asked for another room. The second room was no better also smelled old. The hotel is outdated, 2 towels only. When asked for additional towel was advide they only provide 2 per room. No hair dryer either. The second rooms TV was low to the ground, basicallysit at the end of the bed if watching. High price for a cheap hotel. Should have known it would be a bad decision when the Showboat sign was barely lit. Would not recommend this dump to anyone. Also be aware valet parking was $34 a night.

This was an average overnight stay overall. The hotel is older and could definitely use some updates, and a few of the common areas weren’t as clean as I would have expected. In hindsight, I should have done more research, as the property no longer has a casino and is clearly geared more toward kids and families. That said, I was there for a 21+ New Year’s Eve event, which was actually a lot of fun and well done. Our room itself was clean and comfortable, although there was a slight mildew smell. Not a bad stay, but not quite what I was expecting. With some updates and better upkeep, it could be much better.

The two bedroom family suite had more than enough room for my family. My favorite was the huge jacuzzi tub. The main suite could use some attention but it didn’t stop my family from enjoying our stay. Check in and out was easy and the staff was very nice. My kids enjoyed the arcade and water park. We will definitely return.
