Newly Renovated Lake Cottage - available for the very first season!

Imagine watching the sunrise on the lake in total serenity with nature. Then imagine all the fun the day can hold from that point forward. The possibilities are endless!

The cottage was intentionally designed with an easy and gracious layout that is ideal for family gatherings and entertaining as well as quiet, restful moments. Spill out onto the wraparound deck to soak up the sun and enjoy the water views. Plan a barbecue or evening wine and cheese while you enjoy the peaceful surroundings and dappled sun filtering through the leaves.

The waterfront dock is accessed from a quick set of stairs from the deck to level ground. A sandy, shallow cove awaits that makes paddle boarding, kayaking and canoeing an easy venture. Of course, there’s also several inner tubes handy if you prefer a leisurely float!

The beautifully maintained and picturesque Emerson Park is right around the bend and is reachable by water (or car). Enjoy top-notch performances at the Merry Go Round Theater, local dining, seasonal events, music and entertainment, putt-putt golf at Tom Thumbs and delicious ice cream sundaes and snacks at Green Shutters. This section of the Fingerlakes is breathtaking. Take a drive and explore the many local wineries, hiking trails and regional historic sites.

Whether you choose to come for a few days or a long stay, you will leave refreshed and inspired. This is the place to relax, share laughter and make life-long memories.

Going home

We wanted to be close to our old place, to family and friends, and, of course, to the foot of the lake. We wanted to stay somewhere that would not distract from all the catching up we needed to do that long weekend. This place did not disappoint. It was perfect for us and more. The only way it distracted from our plans for the weekend was that we wished we could have spent more time there enjoying all it had to offer. I have to say, Lisa has created something of this lake house that old Auburnians will find familiar in ways you attended to your own lodgings there and in ways you wished you had. It is more than a renivation, it is a gift to the west side of Owasco Lake. The only reason i don't want to write a more encouraging review is because i hope to find this spot available when i want to go home. Thank you Lisa. B, J, and C from Chicago

Very cute property

Chose the property because it was walking distance to my brother’s place but it turned out to be very enjoyable place to stay. The cottage is very well decorated and well stocked. If you have mobility issues or small children you need to know the stairs from the deck to the lakeside of property are very steep. Also we were there during a heat advisory and the cottage does not have A/C at this time. My understanding is the owners are working on having that added.Bottom line it was a very comfortable place to stay.

Amazing Cottage & Great Host

This house was perfect for my stay. I rented the cottage for my wedding in Auburn and it was beautiful and clean, with access to a canoe, kayaks, and paddle boards. Lisa is an amazing host. Very responsive and friendly!

Time spent at the lake

The cottage was all we could have hoped for! The host thought of every amenity possible to enhance our stay. Upon entering for the first time, the ambience was totally inviting with beautiful furnishings, cozy beds, plush towels and a kitchen that made one feel at home. We spent most of our time on the magnificent deck overlooking the lake with beautiful trees enveloping the yard-truly a slice of heaven! The parking is designed for easy entry and exiting from the road which was a plus at night. This cottage will definitely be our go to place when we visit Owasco lake, you won't want to leave this oasis. The Cameron family

Beautiful clean home

This beautiful home was very clean and nicely located in proximity to the lake and the town of Auburn. The home met all the needs for my families short stay. The handicap accessibility was a major plus. I highly recommend this property.

The property was very clean. Lisa is a wonderful host. Everyone around us was very nice. The only thing was we didn’t catch a lot of fish in the area. But we had a great vacation there.

Nice cottage

We enjoyed our stay at this nicely decorated and newly renovated cottage with deck. Host was available and answered texts quickly. We fished from private dock and enjoyed provided watercraft. Nice yard with fire pit and yard games. Cottage airflow lacked the Sliding glass door which was not available for use, but host provided extra fans due to the heat wave.
