Avoid the "Loft Suite."

We were offered an upgrade which I accepted, expecting a larger room. We received a ground floor room with a tiny “Loft Space.” It faced an alley with two tiny windows. I would not recommend this room to anyone. I was willing to return to a regular room and forfeit the fee for the upgrade, but I was told they were sold out.

First of all the parking was far away from the hotel and after traveling the last thing you want to do is try and find your hotel... they dont even comp you for the parking. 2nd no coffee or tea or anything in your room. The restaurant down stairs was never open even for breakfast. The roof top was just to hot so that was a no go but not sure if they even swrved breakfast. The 2 ladies at the front were some what new and really were no help what so ever.. they did try and things did work out but still a manager should have done a much better job at training thats for sure.

Super friendly staff. No complaints. High celings made the room feel bigger. Separate toilet which was nice except you have to walk across the room to wash your hands after using the toilet.

The employees at the front desk for check in were amazing. It wasn’t quite check-in time yet so they offered to keep my bag while I explored the city. Each and every time I went in or out of the hotel they made sure to greet me. Hospitality here is a 10/10! I booked the micro king, and was a little nervous it would be cramped, but upon entering the room I was pleasantly surprised. It was the perfect size for a solo trip and would have been fine for a group of two as well. The location of this hotel could not have been better. I was able to walk everywhere I wanted to see on my trip!

The staff was incredible and super nice. Room was spacious & beautiful, comfy bed, top notch toiletries. The hotel is in the heart of Essex street which is where you want to be while visiting. Loved going in and out of the quirky shops and enjoying the local food.

We came here for a mini honeymoon and had a lovely stay. the front desk staff are so friendly and helpful! the location is right in the middle of everything so was great for walking. The room was very comfortable and we didn't hear any noise from any other guests.

Brutal. Front desk people are rude and rooms have no controllable ac. If you need to stay in Salem unfortunately, spend the extra and go anyway else. Plus ZERO parking

Staying in the middle of Essex street was really fantastic! Close to shops and dining and just a gorgeous hotel and atmosphere. Highly recommend if you're visiting Salem and want to be in the middle of everything!

Staff was very friendly. We were celebrating my daughter’s birthday, it was a mother daughter trip. When they heard this they surprised us with a treat in our room when we returned. They sent text daily to make sure everything was ok with our stay. Greeted us when leaving and upon return. Would HIGHLY recommend! Rooftop bar has amazing views of the town. Great drinks and the friendliest bartenders. I will say it was the best service we had in the entire town at the rooftop bar. Don’t leave Salem without a visit here.
