Unfortunately it's not a 4 Star hotel for sure I'd say a 2 Star, I was very disappointed especially for the price I paid for the room. I'm just going to say I have a compromised immune system after battling breast cancer for the 2nd time so I have to be extra careful in public by wearing a mask and when I travel and stay in a hotel I have to be sure it has great reviews for cleanliness, upon our arrival into our room I wanted to wash up before heading out to dinner when I turned the bathroom light on I immediately noticed a make up mirror attached to the wall. I pulled it out to use it and there were men's whisker hairs all over the mirror. I don't mean one or two I mean lot then as I went to throw a Kleenex away, I noticed under the counter were two watered up pieces of Kleenex in different areas under the sink or counter rather where I'm assuming the previous gentleman cleaned out his nose and just threw the little wads under the counter disgusting then in front of the tub on the floor was a pretty good size piece of glass where I'm assuming somebody broke the glass that was there for water that would've been horrible and I got in the tub or shower and stepped on that barefooted so I thought I'll make a cup of coffee called the front desk. The bottom of the coffee pot was dirty. It had white chalkysubstance on the bottom of the pot as I sat down to call the front desk. There was a couch by the window, where you could see underneath the couch was a pill of I don't know what

This is a wonderful hotel, and has a great architecturally historic element. The staff were kind, knowledgeable, and prompt. The breakfast buffet is a nice treat as well!

The property was in an excellent location, and we were very pleased with the service initially when we arrived and were given early access to our room. It went downhill from there, though. The room was a little dated and worn - missing drawer handles, peeling paint in the bathroom, sheets were frayed and worn on the edges and towels were small and thin. The room was comfortable enough, but service was poor - we asked for clean towels and didn’t receive them, and housekeeping didn’t return after turning up when my partner was in the shower, despite saying they would. Overall we were disappointed with the Whitehall; the hotel was OK but it was the service that really let them down.

We had dinner there first night very good, and bartender very pleasant. We enjoyed it so much we visited him after our long day for a night cap.Bed very comfortable, only thing we forgot our body wash thinking they had it with shampoo and conditioner and lotion. It wasn’t offered. But otherwise a pleasant stay!

The WhiteHall Hotel BW Premier Collection is fortunate to have both Felicia and Cheryl representing their establishment and welcoming guests daily. During our recent stay in the downtown Chicago area, these two exceeded expectations to ensure our stay was pleasant and rewarding. Upon check-in, we encountered an unforeseen issue with our room key, but Felicia quickly resolved the situation by providing us with a complimentary upgrade, which we greatly appreciated. Additionally, Cheryl went above and beyond by assisting us in obtaining a private car service to attend a special event we were in town for. Their exceptional service truly made our experience memorable!

Overall, I had a good experience here. First, the price was solid for the area and how late I booked my trip. Second, the front counter staff were very friendly. Finally on the good, the bed was incredibly comfortable. I only had two downsides, and they're very minor. One, the room doors are either very thin or they don't have good seals as you can hear just about everything in the hallway. Fortunately, this wasn't an issue for me as everyone on my level seemed really quiet, but I could easily see Lollapalooza week being a nightmare. Two, the breakfast is "fine". It's certainly not terrible, but I'd avoid the waffles as those somehow seemed stale. But to be clear, I'd be totally fine staying here again.
