POOL,Spa, Movie Room, BBQ and Games! Family Vacation Home

This is a cozy 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom single level home with pool and jacuzzi. The master bedroom contains two full sized beds, a private bathroom, and a Roku TV. The other two rooms each contain a queen bed, and a brand new 40 inch Roku smart TV. The beds have been equipped with new Zinus mattress toppers for your comfort. There are also ceiling fans throughout the home and bedrooms, as well as central AC. There is also a large TV in the living room along with a large sectional, an Amazon fire stick, and DVD player. The house is approximately 1,100 square feet with a huge outdoor area that sleeps no more than 8 adults.

-There is a large outdoor area for lounging and entertainment, including a gas BBQ grill, outdoor TV, foosball game, large outdoor seating areas, two long tables with seating, Alexa device, pool and jacuzzi! A propane tank for the gas BBQ is provided, please refill it at your discretion.

POOL/SPA: Pool has solar heating on sunny days. Gas heating is also available for an additional fee of $100/day. Please advise if you are interested in this additional amenity. Jacuzzi heats complimentary from 7pm-10pm; these times can be adjusted for your preference.

You will have access to three bedrooms and two bathrooms, including the living room, dining room, kitchen, and outside areas.

-No parties allowed. Parties will be charged a fine of $500 on top of your booking fee and you will be asked to leave immediately- zero tolerance.

-No outdoor music besides the provided Amazon Alexa device. No outdoor music after 10pm. No loud noise after 10pm. Property has outdoor noise monitoring detection and you will be alerted if this goes off at any time. Please respect our neighbors!

-Only guest on reservation permitted on property unless prior consent given by host. Occupancy price is for 8 adults. No more than 8 adults are allowed, with an additional fee of $25/day per person over 8 . This includes day time visitors and any visitors on the property.

-Solar pool heating is offered complimentary on sunny days. Gas pool heating is offered for an additional fee of $100/day. Please advise if you are interested in this additional amenity.


-Please no trash or pool floaties with glitter. Left over trash or glitter found in pool will lead to a $100 charge for emergency filter cleaning.

-The area is central to many popular attractions whether you're heading to the beaches, downtown, or the border. It is also near the East Palomar Transit Center which goes from downtown San Diego, to the Otay Mesa Border. The home provides views of downtown San Diego, the mountains, the ocean, and Tijuana, Mexico due to being situated on the top of a slope.

A perfect spot for a multi-generational family getaway! The backyard has something for everyone; the kids couldn't get enough of the heated pool, and the jacuzzi was a huge hit with the parents. Having the late checkout option was the icing on the cake for our Christmas vacation.

Family Vacay

We had a wonderful stay at this home in San Diego! It was a perfect fit for our family, and the kids especially loved the pool. The neighborhood was quiet and felt very safe, which was a huge plus. Overall we had a fantastic experience and would definitely consider staying here again.

Backyard Boogie!

We booked here for the price, pool and hot tub. We loved the backyard. We did have a few issues inside with the water temperature, lights and general supplies but none that the host Nicole did not address right away. My teens had a ball and the movie room was a big hangout and a major hit. I would definitely book this place again.

Looks good in pictures. Not what you get.

This property needs substantial maintenance and deep cleaning. The air conditioning does not keep the master bedroom cool. We had to beg the owner to let us drop the temperature. The fan in the master does not work. Floors are extremely dirty. Two of the showers would not drain. Then the toilet backed up into the master shower making the room stink. Miserable stay. Thousands of dollars for a truly miserable experience.

Housekeeping needs improvement. Dirty floors, dirty window blinds, shower and bathtub caulking had mold. Baby high chair had food left in seat. No hand towels, one wash cloth, and limited bath towels. Baby crib was not in house as stated on webpage. Pool deck had dirty beach towels. Manager was very responsive and had crib and towels delivered. They also sent a person to do some cleaning. House needs deep cleaning.

Dirty and run down

Upon arrival we noticed the home was dirty and poorly maintained. The other reviews are from about a year ago so maybe it was better. We did contact the host and we were provided an extra set of sheets. Would not recommend. The online listing is not accurate currently.

Perfect for Family Stay

My family and I enjoyed this house. So thankful we had most of the necessities of a family in the home, including a washer and dryer. Pool was great, house had plenty of towels and the neighborhood felt safe. The positives of this home outweighs any small things that affected our stay at this home. Only things I would ask to fix is to please clean the fan vent in the bathroom, because there was so much dust up there and it turns on every time you turn the lights on. Also, the pool guy showed up unexpectedly and I would have preferred that happen before our stay. This was disruptive because our kids were just in the pool and to see a random guy in the back yard, it was startling at first. Also, we only had one garbage bag for 5 days because they accidentally forgot to leave us an extra one on the bottom. They were gracious enough to say they would drop off more, but by then, I had already purchased some. Hot water was very hard to get going and you had to run the water for at least 10 minutes to get the water hot enough to shower.

Fun vacation

The home was very well maintained clean and inviting . The spa and pool was great but the movie theater hands down the best. Outside entertainment area was large and accommodating. My family and I had a great time. we will be staying again.

We stayed here because the wedding was in Chula Vista. It was a very close to the wedding venue. I wished there was a broom or Swifter to help with maintaining the facility. I ended up purchasing a broom and sponge mop to keep up with cleaning the VRBO.

Chula Vista pool house

Good spot for the family with a pool and hot tub. An extra $100 per day for heating the pool and the hot tub only heats to 100 degrees for 3 hours per day. No washer and drying in the house. Nicole was great to work with and adjust the pool heating. Very responsive.

Perfect for us

The property was as described with one very minor exception. While it was clear that laundry service was an option for longer stays, it wasn't clear the reason was that laundry machines were entirely unavailable. Not a deal breaker but some clarity would have been nice. Finally, we were charged $810 in "Late Check Out" fees despite not requesting nor using this option. Whatever, I guess.

Perfect for our needs

We had a group of 8 and there was plenty of space for everyone. We enjoyed the jacuzzi and hanging out in the backyard in the evening before going out to check out the night life of San Diego. Group of friends got together for a long weekend. It was a great spot that allowed us to lounge around when we weren't out doing activities. We used all the amenities, including the grill to cook a Cali Tri-tipđŸ€€ The complimentary hot tub hours really made those cool San Diego nights nice.

Great place with responsive owner

The home was very nice, the backyard was definitely a big seller to me. Nicole was very responsive to me throughout as I was having problems with heating the pool. Only reason for four stars was just that we weren't able to get the pool heating properly without using the hot tub to do so leaving us to not have as much time in the pool as we'd like and a few tiles by the pool that were missing around the hot tub that you could scrape yourself on.
