Large duplex king size bed and two queen size
Great location in Cleveland Heights. Minutes to Cleveland clinic, University hospital, Cain park, restaurants, the Grog shop, university circle, etc. 1700 sqft of space. Next to a park. Family friendly. Free parking off street.
This is a nice clean place. If you are considering it, be sure to read the reviews. It is 3 levels, no bathroom on the first level, which did not matter to use, but it may if you have mobility challenges. First impression on driving up was kind of negative as the exterior could use a little attention. In looking at the photos, you may think this is a newer build, but it is an old duplex. Again, perfectly fine and well done, but the photos on-line give you a little different impression. One note to possibly improve the place would be to have chain locks or a hotel style interior latching lock on the doors.
I want to say I slept well and that's my priority for an VBRO. I also commend the owner for a quick response to issues we had that were one time things and not worth discussing. However after that, I have to say I was disappointed. First, I was charged 10 for an extra person. I booked for 4 the house sleeps 6 and only 3 showed up so why? This house on the outside looked dirty unkempt with paint peeling and weeds . Entering the back door on green slimy raw wood stairs was scary carrying suitcases or supplies. You enter the kitchen and while basically clean there were random half used supplies in the cabinets that just looked old and unappealing. The same went for the very used messy supplies in the shower. I'm glad I bought my own. The first floor was simply appointed and clean, appropriate for the price and accurate to the pictures. The staircases are steep but not an issue plus that comes with renting an older house. What shouldn't come with renting an older house is ceiling that look like they will finally collapse with the next rainfall & the falling ceiling is right over where you are sleeping. I also have issue with the outlets. The only outlet near the bed in the master would not hold a charger ar anything larger that a lamp plug because it was so old and recessed into the wall. I had to use the extension cord from the tv so no tv or no bedside outlets. You get the idea, old & with issues but the price was good, the bed was good and the bathrooms were clean.
We were only here for one night and it certainly was a big enough place for us. The problems are basically related to it being an old house and it just needing updating. Doors don't really close, windows are leaky and don't block outside sounds, the carpet throughout is aged as well, towels were also in rough shape. It could be a much nicer place. It wouldn't be our first choice if we were in the area again, but it also isn't a bad choice.
We were visiting from Detroit, MI with our adult children for an event at the Rocket Arena in downtown Cleveland. This was exactly what we needed for the five of us. Everyone had their own rooms and we all were so pleased with how comfortable the beds were. Two bathrooms were great! The location was nice and close to the venue and close to restaurants and downtown area. Lots of sitting areas throughout the house to visit with one another, which was really nice.
Overall, it was good. Needed more towels. The heat was insufficient. The heating system ( radiator system) & heat function on the window units)didn't work. Great for an overnight stay. Beds were generally comfortable. The mirror in upstaits bathroom is marvelous!
Check in was smooth and there was sufficient parking. The house was nice with good amenities. It is old and creaky with lots of stairs, which we did not mind, but others might.
Stayed here for appointment. Great neighborhood to walk around. Clean and pictures are true to what we experienced. All questions were answered very quickly and check in was a breeze.
The property was nice. Little cold when we got there but warmed up nicely. Plenty of space for the 4 of us. There are lots of stairs but it was fine would not recommend for older adults.
House was clean with clear instructions on check in/check out were very clear. I didnât get a reply tho when I fad a question about my stay otherwise it was a great stay.
We stayed here for Christmas week. The house is a nice cozy and beautifully decorated place. Its a duplex and the walls are a bit thin but the neighbor was so accepting because Christmas eve we were quite loud. My favorite thing was actually the property host. Steve was super kind and cool and responded to every question. I'm local so the location was good in case i had to run home for something. Overall we had a great time.
Upon arrival we were able to get into the property with the code that was provided. Tried contacting owner by phone, through VRBO and text, No response. Contacted VRBO who tried to contact owner, No response. After we left the property and drove 3 minutes into the city, the owner reached out to
Perfect place for our crazy weekend of a family wedding. Plenty of rooms for all. Very clean and close to the required spots. The Christmas Story house was a major one. Tiny issue that was quickly handled by the host.
Clean and comfortable. Third bedroom and second bath on third floor was perfect for a friend who was staying with us, so she could have her own private area. Had to leave early but wanted to stay in bed because it was so.comfortable
I guess I failed to pay attention that it was a multiple floor duplex. Other than than that it was a beautiful house and very clean. We were two older couples and getting up and down the stairs was a hard difficult.
