This apartment style hotel was very roomy and had a great view of the Edinburgh castle. In a great location and you can walk to all the restaurants and shopping. We loved it!

This was a good location. 15 min walk to the castle and also 15 min to Royal Mile. Near George St and Princes St that was great for coffee, restaurants and shopping. I can only give it 4 stars because we stayed for 3 days and we did not have a dresser or suitcase rack in our apt so we were living from our suitcases on the floor The nice surprise that I did not know was we had a washing machine. This was more of a AIRBB that anything else. I would recommend it

LOVED this property. It was like Home Away from Home. It had Everything we needed. We walked to the Royal Mile, the Edinburgh Castle, Hollyroodhouse Palace, gift shops as well as numerous Beautiful lush parks. We explored a lot and got a TON of great photos as memories. We could get an Espresso or a Guiness at sny point nearby. Best location!!

The property was well located with many of the local attractions being within walking distance. Saying that, we are walkers so it is based upon that assessment. The communicaftion (once we sorted through some technical issues) was easy to underatand and timely. Parking is the only issue (if you have a car) as the neareat parking garage is 10 minutes away.

Perfect location

It is in a perfect location to enjoy all of Edinburgh (old and new). Clean and quiet, room 6 , Superior Studio was quieter than room 5. Great stay!

Very clean and comfortable, especially the bed. Great location. The only blip was that the directions in the App took us to the wrong address - there are two buildings pretty much adjacent to each other. To be fair, the correct address was in the email but the fact that there are two buildings could have been stressed, and we could have avoided a panick-stricken 10 mins in the rain trying to get the code to work on the wrong door. This was resolved by contacting the emergency number, the person who helped us out was great. Would definitely use again.

This place was amazing! My husband and I really enjoyed this gem. It had everything we needed with the comfort of feeling like home instead of a hotel. Its conveniently located to everything (shops, restaurants, buses, entertainment, parks, and of course, Edinburgh castle). The only time we took any sort of transportation was to/from the airport and the bus for our tour. We happily walked everywhere during our stay because the location was really that exceptional. The sights were stunning and because we visited during their annual Edinburgh Festival Fringe, we were even able to see a few performers from our window too. In addition, we were able to enjoy getting a glimpse of the fireworks from the evening Military tattoo performance that took place outside of the castle. I would highly recommend Destiny Scotland Hanover apartments and would book all my stays with them in the future. It was easy to check in, communicate if assistance was needed (via app or their office which was a few blocks away), and overall was a wonderful place to stay. The only neutral comment was that people should be aware that you would have to walk up several flights of stairs before getting to your room. After a long day of taking in the sights and enjoying edinburgh life, those stairs are an extra workout.
