This is the perfect hotel next to the airport. It was convenient and the staff were exceptionally nice. One surprise was the restaurant. The service and food were outstanding. They exceeded our expectations.

Beautiful property. Our biggest complaint was a pillow on our bed had a very disgustingly stained pillowcase. I can't understand how the cleaning staff missed it and allowed it to remain on the bed as it was clearly visible when we walked into the room. We brought the pillow to the front desk, they apologized, said a clean pillow would be brought to the room. It never arrived. Otherwise, excellent bar and dining area, well appointed room, on time shuttle.

The carpet in the hallways is not appealing. It’s time to change it out or steam cleaned. I was not recognized as a Hilton rewards member and was not given a welcome package as i usually do.

The hotel is just fine, nothing special, for an overnight stay right next to the airport. However, there is NOTHING else nearby should you be looking for any options of things to do or places to eat should you have time to spare. It's an expensive taxi to central Edinburgh. My check-in experience was horrible - with only 1 person behind the counter and several persons/groups in front of me, it took over 30-minutes waiting in line to get my rsvp'd room.

My second stay here and it was spectacular….. especially the food and server Louise! I was lucky enough to get her again and she even remembered me! Food was 5 star- no exaggeration! Check in was fast and friendly…. What a lovely way to end my holiday in Scotland. I come every year and I will be back to the doubletree in 2026!

Hôtel was very nice. Dinner was wonderful at Hôtel restaurant. Rooms very comfortable and convenient to have airport shuttle. The chocolate chip cookies is always a plus.

I liked the proximity to the airport and that even with that they had a shuttle. The only thing that I didn't like was that I could hear everything from people walking down the hallway to alarms from other rooms.
