200 yards from the bus station, we used a tour company that runs from there. Arrived early and they stored our luggage until check in. The staff was great.

Really lovely stay, would stay here again if we return to Edinburgh. Had a quiet room at the back, very comfortable, brilliant shower room and toiletries, the staff were all lovely, particularly on the breakfast service, a wide choice of buffet and an excellent cooked to order main course, enough to last you the day out. Really convenient for shopping and the city centre attractions and restaurants service,

This hotel is very well placed for the Edinburgh Playhouse & other tourist attractions. Staff are really friendly and helpful. Hotel is a lovely old building but so warm & cosy. Our room was at the back & was nice and quiet. Complimentary tea, coffee, soft drinks and water plus biscuits, tray replenished each day. Fridge in the room for the water and soft drinks. Bed extremely comfy and bathrobes and slippers were provided. Lovely smelling toiletries and a very powerful rain shower, didn't want to get out. So much choice at breakfast all prepared with the best ingredients. The hotel doesn't have a carpark but you do get a 40% discount when using the one behind the hotel. Man on the reception, sorry can't remember his name recommended any Italian restaurant nearby. The food was so good that we ate there both nights. I would highly recommend this hotel & will definitely stay here when we visit Edinburgh again.

Before I arrived, I received an email to say what to expect. The Reception staff's greetings were warm and friendly. The room was spacious and extremely clean and cosy. The bed was super comfy and the shower flowed perfect with excellent temperature. Located in walking distance or short journey from all attractions. The staff and amenities were exceptional I joined email to keep intouch. The local was excellent. The staff again was so helpful and the hotel itself was clean comfortable . The food service was also excellent. Either breakfast was worth the convenience and price. I will definitely book here again.
