Room had a strong odor and the staff moved us out of the room and upgraded to a suite. Very accommodating. Great service, great restaurant, great location.

Unfortunately on the evening we stayed there was fighting in the hall outside our room and in the parking lot below our room. We could hear screaming, swearing fighting, talks of people hurting themselves with knives they had on them. It was a little traumatic with our young children. I don’t know if this is a common occurrence in this area. If so this place definitely is not family friendly. Very unfortunate stay.

We actually ended up requesting a refund and, not staying. The room we received did not match the pictures shown. We were quite surprised given the excellent room rating! But the room smelled, the bathroom particularily (previous guests may have smoked marijuana?). And everything had the appearance of being old and worn, e.g. carpet starting to rise, scratches in the headboard, part of the dresser missing veneer so broken particle board showing, etc.

Backs onto a busy trail track and trains are through every 20 minutes. Rooms are dated and thermostat would not work and stayed at 24, called for a fan but only one plug accessible. Food was amazing as were the staff

Staff was great. The stay was great. There’s a restaurant inside of the hotel which is convenient. But it’s also VERY close to about 50 other restaurants, which was extremely convenient. Only thing “negative” I could say, is the beds are a little outdated, and a couple things. The common areas of the hotel are nicely updated though. But it’s still 5 stars from me. Would stay again as long as the price stayed one of the cheapest. In order to charge more $$, they would need new bed frames, mattresses and TVs. The Telus on demand option are great too! TONS of movies and shows to choose from.

Lobby and restaurant are great, rooms are a bit dated but ok. Only issue was the loud trains shunting repeatedly through the night. Not a bother for some but I found it a bit much. I'll look at the map closer next time.
