Atrium Frankfurt
The area of the Hotel is good and near to main station. The room was basic. There was no facility like tea, coffee, water, kettle in the room. It has radiator and fan in the room. No central heating or AC. Room size was good enough for two people. But the Beds were separately arranged rather than together.
It has Wi-Fi facility. Breakfast was good. Approx 6 miles from Airport. Taxi charge could be Euro 35-40 from Airport.
The technician guy that came to fix my refrigerator stole 300 euro from my pocket, that I forgot in the room and after I came back after 3-4 hours I found the money in my pocket missing 300 euro
Very bad experience I had in that hotel and a very non trustworthy hotel
The atrium is close to the messe. There are lots of restaurants and a grocery store near by. The beds aren’t the most comfortable and there’s no AC or ice machine. However, the convenience to the messe and the savings make up for it.

Good value
The staff are very helpful - my luggage was lost on the trip over from the states and they went out of their way to help me. The location is good and the room was clean. However, the room was very hot as they do not have A/C and the windows only open a crack. I can't complain though as many buildings in Germany do not have A/C and it was in the 90s all week.
They cancelled my reservation without telling anyone, thankfully they had rooms and were able to fit me back in for the pre agreed price. Location was nice and quiet but some late night disruption from some low rent drunk guests in the hall. Probably the worst mattress I've ever slept on. Otherwise it was clean enough and had a decent free breakfast.
I checked into this hotel the night before a test. The testing center was located down the street which made this a perfect location. Everyone I encountered was very nice (all 3 staff). The room was nice and fine for one person. The bed was a little hard
Parking can be awful! I drove around for 30 minutes and couldn't find suitable parking. I ended up parking across the street and waking up the next morning to try and find another parking spot. I drove around for at least 15 minutes until a van parked out front had moved. Parking was my only real issue.

Worked well for me
I used this hotel for a couple of short stays as a layover in Frankfurt. Nothing special, but they make an effort to keep the hotel clean. Staff is ok. Small but clean rooms. No smell, no mold. Some rooms are slightly bigger than others. Pretty good breakfast which was included. Nice neighborhood. Close to transportation and Hbf. There was no fair, so the price was quite reasonable (around 50 EUR). This hotel can be quite expensive if there is a fair, so use something else in that case.
The hotel had all the necessities for a great rate. I look for a clean place to sleep and breakfast ... This satisfied both needs. The location was perfect, easy walking distace to downtown, and quiet area for a good nights rest. Would definitely stay at this hotel again.
The best thing about Hotel Atrium is that it is in a safe neighborhood and cheap. The main Munich station is a seedy red light district, Hotel Atrium is located north of it and thus feels like a safer environment. That's the good part. Internet was sporadic at best (I found that if I opened my door and stuck my computer out I was able to get better reception), the bathroom shower leaked all over the place, the carpet felt dirty and the bed was just barely clean. Overall, basic maintenance not being conducted. However, safety is always a first priority. Though I hope to never have to return to Frankfurt for a night, if I do, I will consider returning Hotel Atrium if for cost and safety alone.
Wonderful location for taking tests at Pearson Vue
Despite the horrible ratings this hotel has I found it to be everything I needed for my one night stay in Frankfurt to take the PCAT. The staff were all very nice and helpful, my room and bathroom were spotless. Yes the hotel is a little drab, but I wasn't staying there for a 5 star experience. The location, for me, could not have been better... Within a 2 minute walk to Pearson Vue testing center and a 4 minute walk to the train. Very quiet residential neighborhood. The only fault I found is that it was very hot in my room on the 4th floor. I did not expect AC since that is not always common in Europe, but a floor or ceiling fan would've been awesome. Regardless of that, my experience with Hotel Atrium was a pleasant one. I will be returning there in the future to retake my test!
